Your post has further encouraged me to further research the matters I have mentioned in posts. So interesting to uncover the covered actions of firms like Easthams solicitors especially when it gets that sort of response.

Did you get the details of the employment tribunal with Blue Sky?

My research shows that the claims were against Easthams Solicitors. The research reveals interesting details, it appears the tribunal claim was successful against the company which included disability discrimination and the employee was paid substantial damages, the employee appears then to have put forward another claim for the bullying. From my research this claim resulted in a six figure sum, that would be the case referred to in my previous post. Simply put a disgrace. I am on the pursuit of more information, I simply cannot stop myself. It seems John bower and eastham have tried to keep this under wraps. Certainly seems the company have been paying some serious bills for this conduct.

Have also seen a post on one of these pages by Andrew Easthams ex babysitter/nanny. She says she was not treated well, what a shock

The best so far, i love the way you are researching what has already been to court and reported in the papers. As a third party, what will you do with this valuable resource? Nothing. Look through all these pages, they are nearly all about Barry, i know he is off to Portugal for a little winter break, do you really think people like this concern themselves with greedy fools.

I have no interest in Barry or bluesky other than Andrew Eastham was involved.

You need a web site to link to here, its surprising what stories people will send you and then you have a mailing list as well, keep them updated about what people are doing.

I will also attest to this as an ex-nanny of anya and andrew eastham I was treated very unfaily.
on several occasions I was asked to buy things for their son's C and O on the promise of being reimbursed - this never happened.
I was also asked to buy shopping under the same promise and again never reimbursed.
I was called to come in and help settle O as their other nanny S was finishing work and anya couldn't settle him.
Yes, they had 2 nannies for looking after O.
Oh, they don't pay their employees holiday money - apparently if you have a holiday it's unpaid as you are not working for them during that time? Yeah, because that's how it works - and they were meant to both be highly intelligent and both in the law practice?!?!?!
Oh, they also had 2 au pairs who were treated as general dogsbodies and also for keeping an eye on C.
They lied to get rid of me as my wage was 200 a week for a 60+ hour week!!! (way less than minimum wage) and they had the 2 au pairs that they paid 100 each a week and as I said they treated them as general dogs bodies - getting them doing all the housework that myself and S hadn't done and getting them doing up some of their houses that they were supposedly selling on at a profit.
I knew it was all too good to be true and that it was all a big forsade.
They owe me:
£350+ for reimbursements of buying the boys things
£400+ for groceries
& £300 for wages.
I was threatened by anya with her solicitors for asking for this money.
It's good to see that karma is a [***] to some people and that they have been caught out and been suspended and made bankrupt!! HA
I just feel extremely sorry for O and C.
I also feel sorry for those that were conned by them and any nanny or au pair that had the misfortune of working for them.

Why am I not surprised at what you are saying!  
But this must have been a while ago, so what is this situation now, do you know?
It all makes a mockery of the Law.

Hello, yes this was a fair few years ago.
I don't know why but something made me search their names last night and I found this thread.
I also saw a couple of newspaper articles with regards to them being in trouble.
I'm unsure of their situation or whereabouts now but certainly hope never to bump into them.
I was young and naive when I was one if their nannies, but certainly learnt from my mistake of trusting them.
I doubt they legally hired us and paid our taxes and NI as we were paid cash in hand.
law practitioners who definitely made a mockery of the law as its quite clear now that they were very corrupt.

Don't believe a word, barry was on here a while ago pretending to be the nanny, yet now claims to have only found the thread last night, the man's brain is so addled he cant remember what he did yesterday

I can assure you I am female not male.
I honestly have no idea who Barry is, I only searched for the easthams or of pure curiosity.
I had no idea they were part of companies scamming and conning people.
I knew they were buying houses to do up and sell on at a profit and were getting their friends involved.
I'm not sure what I can say to you to prove I'm a previous nanny and that I'm female not male.
