Late last year I got a phone call off this number about reclaiming insurance I gave them some details and then a man called Damien rang me and arranged for someone to come to see me to fill in some paperwork i did all this I have not heard anything since and am worried that they have personal information about me.
I have changed my credit card number but is this a scam as when i ring them I get nothing but a message that says - the number you have called is not assigned to any of our customers if you would like to purchase this number please see our website www.aql.com
What has happened to them please does anyone know I have an address in Blackpool but i have wrote to them 4 times and not got a reply and it is long way for me to go to see them

Think I just stumbled across Barry Costello-Monelle's latest scam enterprise.

So I was reading through this thread on Moneysavingexpert here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3589901 about some group of cold calling pension scam artists on the Costa Del Sol.

So thought I would do a bit of digging on them myself. Searching one of the names they are using for cold calling - Pension Smart - I found  that they have a group on Facebook

And guess whose mugshot and name is all over the Pension Smart group on Facebook? Yes thats right, only Barry Costello-Monelle's!

So looks like Barry has moved in to the business of trying to steal people's pensions, along with some other dodgys on the Costa Del Sol & in Blackburn.

I simply cannot believe that nearly a year on I am still being persecuted by you miserable bunch of loseres and petty minded low lifes.
I have tried to move on this year and so should you !Not one of you will have the courage or decency to see me face to face instead you choose to hide behind your keyboards. I would just love to know what positive steps you have taken to better yourselves this year !!
At the beginning of this year I wrote the following:

This individual Steve applied for a position with a business with which I was involved. It is called Wills Direct Limited. I had tried to set up a will writing business. Unfortunately it did not work out and the company has since stopped trading.

During the course of this attempt I personally interviewed and then trained Steve to write wills. The training took place via Skype and lasted for approximately 8 weeks. He was provided with this training and training material free of charge.

It was anticipated that Steve would work for us. Unfortnutaly, because I was living abroad at the time (hence the training over the internet) we only had a satellite office with restricted post. Government only. This was my one and only mistake however Steve believes that I ripped him off for £2k. I will let you all decide.....

I sent Steve a contract of employment which, because of the above postal service, was never received. I apologised for this mistake on my part but his response was that I was not fit to be an employer and he refused to meet up to resolve this problem when I offered to to fly to England and meet with him. I have the email in which the offer was sent. It was ignored.

I did not hear from Steve for some time until I received noticve of a claim submitted to the Industrail Tribunal for 2 months worth of unpaid wages and expenses.

To this day, Steve has not provided me with any indication of what work he undertook during those 2 months nor evidence of his expenses.

As indicated, I was living abroad and my mother was our representative in the UK. Unfortunately neither her nor myself were able to attend the IT hearing and judgement for unpaid wages was granted to Steve. This was an outrage. However, I paid some of the money personally to keep him from bothering my mother.

The business did not really get up and running. I was subsequently made redundent and did not have the money to continue paying however I did provide Steve with an indication that he would be paid.

However, seeking advice it transpired that no such payments should have been made and this was made known to Steve.

He then commenced enforcement proceedings against me through the Cardiff High Court. Interestingly, it made reference to the fact that no money had been paid to him. He clearly misled the Court. On speaking with the enforcement officers at the court they chose to take no further enforcement action against me or the company.

Subsequently, Steve issued proceedings at the Derby County Court. These have been transferred to the Blackpool County Court becuause I am pursuing a counter claim for the return of the money paid to Steve.

Steve has throughout this period chosen to pursue a bitter and vindictive action against me here.

Yes, I have a past like most of us. But I take issue with the fact that he alledges that I am dishonest and not to be trusted.

Steve: we reap what we sow.....

The £1000 that he says we owe him is now subject to proceedings before the court.....

Not once has Steve had any inking to pursue this matter - why ?
Because he knows he in the wrong and that right is on my side.
I will not reply again but to wish you all peace and understanding. It is soon approaching the festive season and I hold out my hands to you in friendship and in the hope that you can all move on.
