EDGE DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM SCAM !!! STAY AWARE

I have been contacted day after day from this scam outfit, After researching into this company they have the same directors Jamie McDougall/Zac Leonard.

Yes, the same Jamie Mcdougall that has been fined £30, 000 from Google and appeared in the High Court agreeing to never promote Google through Fixed Fee Links

All their scam outfits (listed below) are being investigated by Manchester Police and also trading standards

I went ahead with thier ''sponsored listing adverts'' for one month, and was the worst decision of my life.

Both Directors Jamie from Altrincham, Bradgate Road and Zac Leonard from Alderly Edge have set up another SCAM company to con millions around the world.

www.chrome-media.eu (type this into Google and see it for yourself)

A tempting offer of top adverts on Google has backfired spectacularly for some small businesses.

We've spoken to people who've used Dotcom Chrome's online advertising service, tried to cancel and then found themselves on the receiving end of vile online reviews.

Steve Purnell, a landscape gardener from Redditch, Worcs, fell out with DotCom Chrome and ended up with a one-star review from "Joe" on Google.

"Dont go anywhere near these shisters!" said Joe, who has clearly never learned how to use a spellcheck.

"They are scumbags and liers! The reviews above are fake!"
And Joe didn't think much of IGG Creative, a printer based in Bradford. "Ian is a lier and isnt to be trusted!" ranted Joe. "What an awful character, would I trust him to print my business cards? NOT A CHANCE! Stay away from this moron."

IGG boss Ian Giles told us: "The comment is not justified and it did stem from a farcical Google campaign."

Joe gets around a bit. Here's his verdict on Seacrest Massage, in Duncraig, Western Australia: "Doesnt pay bills on time, doesnt adhere to contracts, speaks like a lepper, threatens and becomes abusive when confronted. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID."

Boss Sharon Zaunmayr said: "Dotcom Chrome promised it had premium placement with Google for its ad campaigns. It sounded like it was Google endorsed.

"I began to get suspicious after two months and found a simple ad in the very poor English. Dotcom Chrome's boss, Jamie, gets very nasty when you cancel."

We've had a string of similar complaints and have previously warned readers about this outfit, based in Manchester.

After being taken to court by Google last year it promised to not to pass itself off as being part of or connected to Google. Dotcom Chrome and its director Jamie McDougall (left), 26, paid £30,000 towards Google's costs.

Zac Leonard, 25, was a co-director, briefly, while he bought Dotcom Chrome's database and set up the entirely different .com Chrome Ltd.

McDougall, who also calls himself Jamie Harrison, remains an "adviser" and shareholder.

We rang .com Chrome posing as the manager of an Indian restaurant in Harrow, North London.

Salesman Adam told us the "most searched for key phrase in Harrow is 'Indian restaurant Harrow' and that's bringing in 6,000 searches a month". For £125 plus VAT we'd get five key phrases and "within 48 hours you'll be on the first page of Google.

"It's on a month-by-month basis. You can cancel the campaign whenever you want".

Then "manager" Naveed waded in: "What we also do is give you full exclusivity on it so all the restaurants around you will not be able to purchase the five key phrases you have purchased."

That's not true. Anyone can advertise on Google using any keyword - the more you pay per click, the higher your sponsored link appears.

Leonard later explained .com Chrome promises exclusivity as "we work with one firm per market sector per region".

He also insisted Chrome could guarantee a front page Google ad and "strives" to keep it there for 75% of the time.

But Google told us: "Small firms need to be aware that no one can guarantee you a spot on the Google results page and no one can guarantee you exclusivity. These are giveaway signs of disreputable companies."

Leonard told us he didn't know who left Joe's reviews but said it was "being looked into".

Another AdWords reseller Google's taken to court is Dotcom Chrome, whose sideline is dishing out outrageous abuse to former clients.

Magician Tim Ellis says he was cold-called by this lot who promised him "unlimited clicks" advertising on the front page of Google with a one-month free trial. Believing he was talking to Google, Tim agreed.

But he was charged £125 for the first month, was told his preferred keywords were "poor choices" and the clicks were far from unlimited.
When he canceled the deal, Dotcom Chrome emailed him, stating: "I believe our salesman told you every day for one month, did you take this to mean 24/7? If so, perhaps you should have queried it at the time because it could mean once per day for one month."

Then it got abusive: "Instead of dressing up like a clown all year for little or no money why don't you run AdWords campaigns for people and make some good returns as our bosses obviously do?"

Finally to outright lies: "Is this the same Tim Ellis that was sued for touching my friend's auntie's child at a party?

"I think I may need to post something online just in case it is and get the post on page 1 of Google under your company name. Better safe than sorry and all that."

As complaints like Tim's grew on whocallsme.com, administrators found a string of positive reviews mysteriously posted under different names but from the same computer.

Now both Dotcom Chrome and boss Jamie McDougall, 25, of Altrincham, Cheshire, have agreed in the High Court not to pass themselves off as Google or claim they can guarantee search positions. They have also agreed to pay Google £30,000 in costs.

McDougall's now trading as Dotcom Platimum, with a website registered by former Dotcom Chrome director Zac Leonard, 24 (below).
