- John Maher| 1 replyI've been on board now for about 3 months on their fixed fee adwords campaign and I can say for me it has worked, especially when the new 59 plate was released. I've had increased traffic into the website which has naturally led to an increase in business, exactly as they said. Obviously it cannot work for every single business and no matter who you are you will never satisfy all of your clients because some people are always wanting more, as for the rolling contract all you have to do is listen!

I have found their service useless (to be fair, this type of service could be useless with any company)BUT I have found their staff AND the so called director/owner/founder/major shareholder/chief/md to be SO down right rude, arrogant, cocky, and very unprofessional - you should see the email I got from them when I tried to cancel the contract - unbelievable - where they learnt their (paying) client skills and manners from - God alone knows. I have the useless main guy's email address if you want it!

The company name is dotcom chrome but we do not accept cheques as method of payment, nor do we send out proforma invoices, these details are outlined in your terms and conditions. You get a paid invoice after you have made payment with a credit or debit card. If you see a sign in a restaurant saying no cheques you don’t walk into the restaurant, eat your meal, ask them to send you and invoice and then make payment with a cheque do you? The terms are really simple to follow so instead of kicking up such a fuss and thinking your above them wouldn’t life be easier if you just followed the instructions?

what is the company name is it as highlighted above dotcom chorme or is it dotcomchrome so i may send a cheque once you have sent me an invoice like i have requested on many occassions now . - grim reaperit would appear that moss side would acually work for dotcom chorme or is it dotcomchrome because similiar spelling mistakes and punctuation are made to those in the emails posted by paul? .And as for manc who posted above i would say he does to and also showing his knowledge of data protection what a muppet .

- MattI am based in South Africa and have some idiot call us over and over again trying to sell us the same thing - everytime he pretends it's the first time he's called.
I (and my staff) have told him several times now not to call us, he just puts the phone down in our ears half the time and calls back again later.
He says his name is Alex Neo (if that's his real name) and refuses to give me contact details, address, web address, telephone number, etc saying that's not how he does business.
When I told him again not to call again he became abusive and says he will make a point of phoning us everyday from now on for as long as he works for the company.
He says that his company is an international company and doesn't have to abide by the local laws (when I told him his unsolicited calls despite several requests to stop were harassment).
I would never do business with a firm that uses such techniques and find it humorous to insult and frustrate people.- Caller: Dotcom Chrome

- Ray RehmanI use them for my computer support business and to date they have been excellent. I went for the 5 keywords per month package to start with and have now also got a long term SEO package. I think its working well as 60-70% of people that call in say they found us via Google using the words we selected so I have paid for a further year of service. I would recommend them, like any business if it is working its great! Oh and if anybody wishes they can call my freephone number on 08009553141 for a personal recommendation!
Ray Rehman - Paul MasseyI use dot-com chrome for my security business marketing and i have to say the comments above reek of a company who go by the name of Lavora marketing, I was with Lavora up until 8 weeks ago when chrome persuaded me to switch to them, best decision I ever made but Lavora were not best pleased with me and from the looks of the comments above they all started when i Left for chrome, quite sad really but they did warn me and i did warn chrome of their threats, hey if you want to be childish about business then I suppose thats how you will be regardless
- Yogendra Parekh| 1 replyThis company is fraudulant I used them for a marketing campaign which was a rip off and a waste of time. When trying to call them I recieved extremely poor customer service and was told to email them when I emailed them they didn't respond I kept emailing and calling and had no luck and in the end had to cancel my bank card to prevent them from taking any further payments!
I was then sent an email by one of their employees telling me I was wasting their time and that I had no chance at success in business, HOW RUDE!!!
I personally think the company is a FRUAD AND SHOULD NOT BE DEALT WITH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!

- david@dotcomchrome| 1 replywe cant get it right for everybody but the thread i have just posted confirms that yogendra simply refused to read the welcome pack, how many times in this email thread did we resend the documents needed to cancel? how many times did we respond and tell yogendra that email is not a valid form of cancellation? this is not something we hide, before any monies are taken yogendra agreed to send a to cancel not an email (on a call recorded line) it is further explained in the welcome pack but instead of reading it he decided to email horrible things to us. I thought I should post this thread because our legal team are now in the process of court action against yogendra for the comments he made in his post above. To any other posters who are planning to put half a story online and basiclly lie to unwittign memebrs of the public:
the ostler carriage company now have a ccj registered against their business name for not keeping up payments. You can check this yourself via eqifax if need be. If the payments were not valid why would a court find in dotcom chrome's favour?
The ostler are now being sued for damages for their comments on this site somewhere to the tune of £6000. A debt which they will no doubt not pay considering the bailiffs are still chasing them for the the other debt they have outstanding
One final point:
"le elegance carriages" have been emailing us today thanking us for the public relations work they are now doing with us. They are deeply concerned that one of our rivals has posted bad press about our services online and claimed it was from them and are also in the process of legal action against the culprits - disgruntleddoes anyone have the correct address for these people to allow me to cancel the contract

- Keep your emails...| 5 repliesI have experienced dealings with this company - Dotcom Chrome, very similar to others reported, I won’t go into my case in detail as I don’t want them to target me again but they sent me threatening, bullying emails with a very similar tone to those above. They actually made me ill with worry with their threats and harrassment. I was always polite to them.
Now it is over, I have logged a complaint about them with trading standards and I urge you to do the same. Trading Standards (or consumer direct) 08454 040506 are now investigating but said that they prioritise according to the number of complaints they get so the more people log calls, the quicker these malicious people will be dealt with. I have also recorded my harrassing emails with the police and Watch Dog (who are very interested – but again the more people who log, the quicker they will act) so make sure you don’t delete your emails – especially the threats of court action. We must stop them doing the same to other people who will get scared by their bullying and pay up. We can’t let people behave like this and cause misery for others.- Caller: Dotcom Chrome

- Ceejay Jones| 3 repliesi have been with dotcomchrome for over 3 months now, and i have a nightclub in birmingham, unplug. the salesman expalined the campaign to me and i believed him all the way through. sometimes it can be hard to trust people on the fone like that, after all its commision for these guys.
however i can say it has FANTASTICLLY well for me. im gettin clients ringing me up finding me of google which is GR8 :D
the down side to the company that i have is that the actual month by month rolling agreement, but then agen you do have the recording fone call to clarify that you can cancell ''by writing''.
i have no problems with this campgin and have recommended a friend, hu reads reviews all the time, so i thought id do one. thanks dotcom chrome.

- Tim| 1 replyUnfortunately the Dotcom Chrome salesmen, as friendly as they seem, have a tendency to mislead.
They imply they are from Google Chrome, so the offer sounds legitimate.
They also suggest it's a one month trial, but your credit card will be rebilled unless you cancel in writing... and they acknowledge receiving your letter.
They told me it didn't matter how many people clicked on my ad, it would stay in position on page one every day - but once you get the company 'Welcome Pack' they explain that you may not see your ad from time to time and give a number of reasons why it may not be appearing. In fact their contract actually says:
"For the purposes of this contract Dotcom Chrome will generate no less than 5 first page adverts on google"
Per day, per month, per duration of contract? It's unclear.
A person from Dotcom Technical support signing his letter "Jimmy the Clown" wrote saying:
"I believe our salesman told you every day for one month, did you take this to mean 24/7? If so perhaps you should have queried it at the time because it could mean once per day for one month."
Essentially, they will run a regular AdWords Campaign for you, but tell you it's a fixed price, 24/7 campaign.
They also change your keyphrases - I assume this is so your ads continue to appear on page one. It's much easier to stay of page one with less popular keyphrases.
And yes, true to form, the friendly emails and calls from this company turn bitter and vindictive if you decide to cancel.
"You will notice that when people like you email us in technical support being children we do respond in kind, this is a factor we do not and will not hide. We are above dealing with such lunacy to be honest with you, if you know better than us then why sign up in the first place? So that you can get a £100k per year technician to kiss your backside? This company are already being investigated and the more people who report them the quicker this will be done, it is only a 5 minute call. Please keep a record of your emails especially if they threaten court action when you cancel.
To Dotcom Chrome. You are obviously very skilled in what you do and make good money doing it. If you carry on harrassing people in this way your careers will be ruined for life. The people you are scamming may lose some money but it is you guys who are sacrificing your careers. - dotcomchromethey were terrible, I do adwords and asked them several question which the sales guys just lied about. The said it was a new google product so I call the adwords team in Ireland and they had never hear of it or them. Don't touch them, the sales guys honestly don't know what they are talking about. Why would Google who get say £5000 per month for a key phrase then sell it for less than £125 per month.
Yes they may be able to sell keywords at £125 per month but that's because no one uses them. One final not the sale guy was getting really rattled by me and said well if we were not that good then why would we have 150 Remada Hotels on their books. Good luck to Ramada!!!- Caller: dotcomchrome
