- mrs yearsley| 1 replyI have had several phone calls from this outfit, chrome dotcom or dotcom chrome whatever they call themselves not from the number posted but that is their main manchester number I think, I am a little dissapointed because the campaigns sound like they could be a huge benefit but I have turned them down on 4 or 5 seperate occasions because I dont have the budget but this doesnt seem to stop them calling, They call and with hold their numbers which is quite the norm with sales outfits but regardless of how good they are or how cheap they think their prices are their representatives need to understand that NO MEANS NO the last guy that called basically told me that if i didnt have £125 for his marketing savvy then I should not be running a business! - SimonBe very very wary of these people. The salespeople who call you will lie through their teeth to get you to sign up and will then deliver something different from what was promised. While they do provide some google adwords advertising, it was not what was promised and was of little value. I do my own google adwords and could have had what they provided for less than £10. I paid £125 for the first month and am now attempting to reclaim this under the guarantee as they lied about what they would do.

- david simpsondotcom chrome, their sales agression leaves a bit to be desired, I could not get them off the phone but after signing up im glad of theor persistance, customer service is spot on, technical support are the best i have ever come across, send an email to them any time day or night and you get a responce within the hour! the important thing is that I make my money back and more each month that i pay them, i am with them through their adwords package and have ust purchased gold SEO from them as well. - Being suedSally is right. dotcom... sign you up for 1 month then kid you by it becoming a rolling program. I would not recommend them either... google take no responsibility here either, but acknowledge there are other complaints too!
- iain mckenziecampaign produced little result. I was told we would be cntacted at end of first month to renew deal and see if cost was affordable. \No call but payments continued to flow out of bank account.
Complaints to firm met with a rude and indifferent response. If I acted with customers that way then I would be shown door.
Customer services did not know where account was held to cancel contract.
|V|ery strange company. Be wary - L'Elegance carriages| 5 repliesWe signed up for a month's trial and then decided that we were doing OK without he need for page one billing. Like the previous writer, their manchester office tried to say that the letter (you have to cancel in writing) had to go to the uSA but our first invoice is clearly addressed Manchester so we assume that is where the account is. The post office could not send a registered letter as it had no such company on their data base - worry. I log on to their website but it has now been down for a week! bigger worry. I am now going to call again tomorrow and if Ihave no joy I will pass their details to the police and infom BBC Watchdog 9after calling the bank of course to freeze the account). This is something we can do without. If they are genuine (and I wonder how many letters above are by members of their staff!)then it should be easy to negotiate contracts with them. I think it is a big scam so say NO if they call and inform the police.

Arrogant,cocky,rude and very unprofessional to name a few.I to had the misfortune of a phone call from this outfit telling me one thing and charging another,with the letter scam to rip you off for 1 more month at full price.
This service can be got with British Telecom for £74 per month,you will get on page one of goggle and yahoo to name the biggest.Do not be led into this scam.

For all the negative feedback, we will work on all the individual issues raised to ensure our standards remain high for not just most of our clients but for all of them.
There however is a slight worry in that the posting from L'Elegance carriages
appears to be a fake post, Ithis client is still paying us money for marketing and infact only called us 2 weeks ago to drop the number of phrases they are using. I have contacted the client to confirm how I can rectify their issues and they have no idea about this posting. It appears to be the same story with iain mckenzie who stated to me that he doesnt even have a computer and would not under any circumstance be posting bad press online about our services.
It would appear that either an ex member of our staff or one of our smaller competitors are launching a smear campaign against our good name in the hope that our business model is affected somehow.
There are issues (small issues) whcih have been raised on this forum which I have come across whcih I now feel have been delat with in an appropriate manner for both ourselves and our clients who felt slightly agrieved, but to the posters above making up childish stories about non existant companies I can only say poor show on your behalf

- shocked...I was graced by a call from dot com chrome today, knowing that 99% of advertising sales calls are a bunch of rubbish i listened in to what the gent had to say, awaiting for the ever illusive something new, it started off promising and was very intent on letting the man finish, however once he said his part and explained what he had to say i asked him if this was a google adwords campaign to which he replied yes, so i told hi i run my own adwords campaigns, well he obviously has some issues to deal with as after that he became aggressive and insisted i use his product as they are the best in the entire WORLD and only one of 2 companies that do it (more like 1 of 1000000)and trying to threaten me by using the idea of providing the service to competitors, like half of them aren't using adwords already... after repeatedly saying NO he tells me i am rude for wasting his time and he demands an answer as to why i kept him on the call if i knew i wasn't going to use his product (buddy how am i supposed to know what your product is if i don't listen to you on the phone? huh?) this ended in verbal abuse from his side and a hang up from myside, how do you do business like this? I then tried to contact there so called regional office to which the address listed is false, there is no company in those buildings by that name... If they ever call just hang up.

We have had the hassle and unfortunate displeasure of dealing with this so called "COMPANY". Who by the way are not a registered company in Australia ahich is unheard of. We are having amounts taken from our credit card unlawfully, funnily enough they have not responded to our registered letter telling them to cancel our agreement, we can not get through to their "Sydney" or "Manchester" offices if they even exist as it is constantly engaged and our emails go unanswered. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRUST WHAT THEIR SALESMAN PROMISE YOU AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DON'T GIVE THEM ANY CREDIT OR BANK DETAILS BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AFTER THAT. When we requested to listen to the recording they apparently had, all of a sudden it didn't exist or wasn't available. I see that dotcom Chrome check the posts on this site so I challenge you to contact us and resolve this situation immediately if you are such a reputable company??????

- Hmmm, InterestingJust a quick note, if you google the addresses provided by the chap from dotcom chrome, the Toronto and Wall Street ones are also the addresses of virtual office/business mailing address companies - for a monthly fee these will redirect mail for you so you can give out an impressive looking address (110 Wall Street for instance) to clients.

When i signed up they promised that they would ring me after the first month so that we could reassess our package, no rolling contract was agreed to, I didn't receive a phone call and they carried on taking money from my account. When i phoned them to complain they were very aggressive so i asked for the recording of the original phone call. when they sent it to me it was the last 50 seconds of the call they had cut out the rest of the conversation with the lady saying that she would phone me after 1 month. where do i complain to? watchdog? police?

- MichelleGot a call from Dotcom Chrome. It all sounded too good to be true.Only method of payment is by credit card. Why? So Dotcom Chrome has free reign to charge your credit card and you provided all the details? If a company is reputable they will be able to be flexible and offer all their details. Why do their proposals not include any contact details? If they call you...be weary, it could be a scam.
- paul| 2 repliesapparently i am a muppet because in the first instance one of there customer services reps rang me because my credit card was cancelled after its loss.She must have presumed i had done this on purpose because she went into my long list of complaints i had made about the company and repeatedly asked my if i was so unhappy why hadnt i cancelled in the end i told her i was cancelling when she told me i could not cancel without 30 days notice and that they would take me to court .email was sent with recording of contract as well as her trying to say i had canceled the service i asked for an invoice to be sent along with invoices for what i had already paid this has still not arrived .I have repeatedly said that i will not pay by credit card and will send them a cheque and they have refused here are some replies from them

I couldn’t care less how many phrases you have in all honesty, you’re in arrears for your contract which makes you a bad payer, we don’t send pro forma invoices and our method payment is credit or debit card only, we have you agreeing to these terms on a call recorded l line so when the case hits a court your snookered m8, people like you make me laugh, you ask for a security policy but probably don’t even understand words that consist of more than a syllable anyway, so your delaying tactic isn’t going to fly, get over it and get your account out of arrears

Is it any wonder with both your companies customer service skills and technical dept that companies like mine who believe it or not are far from struggling feel that your shoddy service leaves bills unpaid especially when i have asked that an invoice be sent and my adwords campaign be paused until i have sent a cheque . I will not pay your company by any form of debit/credit card because i do not feel that my details are held in a secure manner you obviously dont know the answer to my question otherwise you would of told me instead of telling me to read it on the net .And as an aside if you look in the manchester evening news every night a6 windows is there and believe me just one of them adverts on one day costs more than the a months adwords campaign with your company and we have been there religously for 15 years now week in week out mainly because we get results ,exactly what the sales rep told us and quality service something your company hasnt given when Tony your canvasser who sold me this package signed me up i told him just that im so glad i didnt order 10 phrases with your company £150 a month on adwords has got to be the cheapest advertizing we have done and if i was happy with your service believe me i would of recommended to many .
