I also got a call from this number just now, left it ringing and it carried on for about 20 mins!

it  is enviromentol control - canvassing for customers to go round and discuss solar panels or security?????  or something like that - i just said i wasnt interested.

Same for me, a new one this by the looks of it, no message left.

Called me three times already this morning & leaves no message

Had a call from this number 21/10/10 at 15:15, I can hear someone..but they fail to speak.
Maybe it is a solar panel company, the panel hasn't charged their brain, to then move the jaw of their mouth, to emit dialogue from their voice box! Idiots!
Not very good these solar panels eh!? LOL
Funnily enough there is a solar panel installation in the next street...hmmm...and no sun...LOL

Som European Environmental service!!! wanting to come around to discuss security of the home and trying to find what time would be suitable and asking for somew details!!! Hang up pretty swiftly when I said that i would not discuss.

We have spoken to one of their advisers, they are a genuine company, but it sounds like their marketing tactics leave a little to be desired. They called us to confirm the appointment for the adviser to visit and survey our property to do a quote for solar panels.

Got a call from this number claiming to be a security firm offering free security checks.
Told them I already have a full security system in place and they hung up

Got 3 calls this morning and no message left - rang back and recorded message re solar panels and asking for me to leave my details!!  Needless to say, i didn't!!

my anwserphone was on and after my message they left a noise which continued when I pick up the phone,  I pulled the plug on the answerphone but when I tried to dial out the noise was still there.  The only way I got rid of the noise was to pull the main landline out.  This is not the action of a normal trustworthy company and I would advise anyone to give this company a wide very berth.

just go a call from this number - said they were some kind of environmental control services I asked what they wanted and they said they were coming to my area to do a survey on crime and burglery tomorrow...i cut the call short, but am disturbed by it

We had a call from one of our members, and they had rec'd a call from the 01704/515444 number, with the caller pretending to be from our Association, offering to come round and do something or other - interestingly enough, we are a politically-related association, we do not offer any services or any products, so fairly pointless them trying to pretend to be us - our member didn't fall for this one!!
They should try & put a **little** more effort in to conning people - a lot of people are more clued up, thanks to Watchdog & the like!

Phone rings, I answer, line go dead. Happened twice this morning. I would never ever purchase anything from a cold caller; why do these people bother. They should get aproper job and stop pestering people.

I was cold called by someone who claimed to be from a crime prevention surplier who asked to come to my home to do a survey. They asked me to supply a code? I explained that my daughter would be present during the visit and suddenly I was being questioned as to why I felt the need for someone to be present. I am a senior citizen and was rather uncomfortable about the call.
My daughter has called the number back and only gets an answer machine, she has asked for someone to csall back but as yet noone has.Why? I ask myself.

They've called me twice today. They rang off immediately the call went on to my answerphone - didn't leave a message. Surprise, surprise!
