This same number(01707 873629)keeps calling me..First my broadbandtalk number,then my landline,always within one minuite of each other.If I answer it,they just hang up.If I call it back,no answer.The volume of calls from this number is getting ridiculous.So I changed my broadbandtalk number and...It has made no difference,they ring my new number,then my landline(still within one minuite of each other.)The fact that both my numbers are X-directory(and I haven't given it to anyone),suggests to me that it is either B.T,or someone with access to B.T's customer records.When I rang B.T for help,they tried to convince me it is a random dialer!!! How can it be,under these circumstances? I am also getting the same thing from an"unknown number", even though my numbers don't accept"withheld numbers".

Has anyone had this number call them..........5-062-284-6083.  This number calls continuously.  I answered and a recording says that it is my last chance to lower my interest rate.  When I spoke to a live person she hung up on me because I told her to take me off of any list that they may have.  I called the number back and a older gentleman answered.  I said.....YOU HUNG UP ON ME.  He says that he didn't and that he gets phone calls continuously about someone hanging up on them.  I have not a clue on what is going on.......Does anyone else

Had 2 calls in the last 2 days, caller hung up as soon as I answered. Called back but nobody answered.

This call comes to me via call divert,it costs me money! These calls are a nuisance and should be stopped.

I got 3 missed calls on my mobile(on same day) while i was away on holiday ( roaming)... i called them today, first came busy and then when rang it sounded like going to a fax machine ... but no answer..

I wan't able to answer the call in time - when I did there was the continual engaged tone.   Infuriating or what?!

Getting calls from this number quite regularly and its been going on for few months now. They never leave a message but lots of noises in the background. Wonder who they are!

This number has called me every day for the last 6 days at various times. They never leave a message on my answerphone. I can only assume they are trying to sell me something I don't want.

Frequent calls, rings four times then stops. Makes one want some payback.

Ofcom have fined Barclaycard £50,000 for being the worst offender of 'silent calls'. Thats like only prosecuting thieves who steal the largest amount. Little thieves should be taught a lesson too. Come on Ofcom.

Seems like its the same story as everyone else... answered the call but it was silent then they hung up. I have caller protection too so not sure how they got through..

Called at 15:52, I answered on the 1st ring and they hung up.  Damned annoying to put it mildly, Simon is right when are Ofcom going to do something about this caller.

This number contacts me everyday on my second mobile.  I ignore it.  If it was important then would have left a message on the answering machine.  Hate them with a vengence.  I will now try to block the number now that I know, from this site, its all about trying to sell me double glazing.

this is from everest, i rang their 0800 number on their website and they said they would remove me. Only time will tell! they phone me and put the phone down.. great.
