I read Chelsea's note of 29th Oct.,  saying the number (01707873629) belononged to Everest and giving there free phone number (0800 008 7094).  I rang the number and was put through to a lady called Sheena.  She had all my details on her record and promised to have them removed, them so I should recieve no more calls from Everest.

Keeps calling then found this site as I tried to find out who they where.

Note: I've sent Everest a letter saying

"Under Government legislation introduced on 1st May 1999 and replaced on 11th December 2003 by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, it is unlawful to make unsolicited direct marketing calls to individuals who have indicated that they do not want to receive such calls."

I called the 0800 008 7094 number and asked to have my details removed which they assured me they would do.

Keep getting called by 01707873629 even though every time I tell them I'm not interested and to take me off their list.

Will have to resort to writing to them instead as detailed above

Every 2 months or so i got calls from this number and others with the same code, e.g 01707 877711. It does confuse you at first as they seem to call mainly lunch times and after 6 at times, so you wouldn't think it is a business. Is there any way of stopping this? I've told them before that although we received a quote from them, we have actually got all our windows done recently from another local firm. So what could they possibly gain from just annoying me and wasting their own time.

They keep calling a few times a week, like juat now.  :((
We had some doors fitted by Everest Windows couple of years ago, they were so expensive, worst ever, gaps round the edges, draughts, doors wouldn`t lock properly, couldn`t get in with keys, you name it.
   After having them come out twice to supposedly sort it, they just changed the door handles, then in the end, they said there was nothing else they could do.  
 They have the cheek to keep ringing, to tell you, they have a agent in the area, last time they caught me on phone, I told them we were not happy at all with their doors, and wouldn`t ever want to use them again, I was quite rude, woman apologised for calling.
  Guess what they still keep calling, it`s getting be a real nuisance now.
I think I`ll have to get on and write that letter.

Had a quote from Everest 20 years ago. couldn`t get rid of the salesman at that time until I began shutting the door in his face now, they are sending junk mail and phone calls.

The number is from everest TOSSERS just dont answer they will get fed-up !!

It IS Everest Sales, missed a couple then answered one - Everest Sales promoting new business lines.

everest again about 4 times per day they call.
Call 01707 875700 and ask to speak to Sharina (marketing department - in charge of call lists). Ask her to remove you from the call lists.

Called landline about 8pm and asked for me by name. I asked who was calling - they ended the call.

This number calls regularly and I tend not to answer now. They would initially hang up on answering and they never leave a message. I don't call back, as I suspect it's a premium number. The calls started after my girlfriend got an EXTORTIONATE quote from Everest for new windows. We turned them down, but they kept ringing and badgering us for a while. I told them we weren't interested, so I suspect they're trying to get their own back now.

The mobile phone just rang and by the time i picked it up it stopped ringing.  Did a search online and found this.  If it is Everest why don't they speak?

The number is an Everest Double Glazing number and they get round the TPS by saying you are an existing customer therefore the call can be classed as 'customer maintenance', not a sales call.
Ring their freephone number 0800 008 7094 and ask to be removed from the telephone list.

They are so annoying, have called me 8 this this morning already (it's only 11:20am!)  I have added them to my rejects list on my mobile, so it cuts them off as soon as they call.  Everest Double Glazing!!  I have now answered a call (as they called from a different number it came through on my mobile) and told them clearly to stop bothering me.  

There should be laws about this awful cold-callers, it's totally out of order bothering people.

It IS Everest! But if you call Everest direct on 0800 008 7094 and explain that you don't want any more calls they will remove your number from their lists - seems to have worked for us so far!

And to give Everest their due, the woman I spoke to was really helpful and understanding!
