its a dept collector don't know what they are calling me for, they phone and it says you have been called by avantis press 1 to answer ,this happened yesterday on different number 07730216642.i have now blocked both numbers on my mobile. don't know were they get my number from either.

stole my x directory number claim I owed debit all lies it was there nothing but hard code parasites

Had automated call two days in a row now from this number requested urgently to call them back.  I just hung up.  There is absolutely no need for this company to be calling me.  Where did they get my number from!!

Dont press a number,just hang up.

TPS does not apply to debt collectors, only sales or marketing calls.

I had a call from this number 01782 401123 15.55 pm 23 June 2014 I didn't answer the call as I don't answer to scam call's.

We have been pestered by call’s from this number for while now .Me and the wife have told them we don’t know who they are looking for and reported them to the FCA and the CSA which they are supposed to be registered with.

But nothing we have done seems to deter them, it’s starting to cause my wife  considerable distress now. Has anyone any ideas on how to put a stop to this company and others pestering us ?

I have started a log and if it continues I will try taking them to court. The likes of this site is a good idea but I think if people who read and contribute should register a vote to petition the house of commons and stop these companies once and for all.

How on earth have they got my number as We have only just moved to this house and it is a new number?

I do not have any depts. and where did they get my phone number from as I am ex-directory no one answered the phone when picked up only to ring this phone number 0845 0844 020, but when I rang 1471 the number they gave was 01782401123 as I am a pensioner I could do without these calls so please do not answere these numbers to Avantis credit ltd

This number has called me 3 times in the last two days at diiferrent times of the day. Each call was silent and kept my line busy for 2 mins before the automatic dialler finally hung up. (i.e. I tried to make a phone call afterwards and caller still there)

Just had a call from this Number and it is Disgusting that some Scumbag on the other side has the Balls to Distort Money this way.I have already been the victim of a scam and no way am I putting myself through this again after 4 years.

Just hang up and block number.  If the call was genuine there would be someone on the other end, none of this press 1 to call us nonsense.

Had three calls in the last two days. Called back but they wanted full contact details but would not tell me why they were calling. It appears they need all my details before they will tell me what they want - yet they called me. Sounds very underhand. Checked out the number and identified Advantis. I've now blocked the number.

i have just had a call from this number. I didn't answer the 'phone but googled the number and found this site.  I seem to get numerous calls during the day and I have just stopped using my landline and ignore all calls. I rely solely on my mobile. It seems ridiculous that I have to take this action though. I am signed up with TPS and I have no debts.

I to have had calls from Advantis. They are regulated by Financial Conduct Authority who gives contact details of the Client Services Director mark.webb@advantiscredit.co.uk . Drop Mark a line and ask him to explain whats happening.

I have had several calls from this number I have only answered  the call once [by accident] now they wont stop
