It's a publishing company in stoke.  I've had experience of these kind of callers before...They phone up asking for donations for a charity book they are publishing then pocket the money.  Speak to trading standards if they anny you!

It's a publishing company selling advertising as well as hard selling events. They are extremely pushy, fringing rudeness and impertinence. We have complained in writing on numerous occasions for years and even phoned them asking them to stop harassing us. They just keep phoning again and again. We have reverted to not answer their calls and just put the phone down.

Rude, pushy cold callers. Do not even attempt a conversation.  You'll end up hanging up on them!

BEWARE - This company hides under various different names : PSCA International / Public Service Events
They claim to be working with various government departments.....But actually set up VERY POOR quality trade shows.They are nothing more then Kirby Hoover/Double glazing sales men who start off with high prices and drop the price by 80% of what they are origanally asking for.I fell for this and attended a very poor event in February 2010.The delegates that attended were no more that receptionists out on a jolly for the day.To my amazement i found at least another 20 companies on the day that were basically flogged a DEAD HORSE ......

Be aware of these high pressure, double glazing style approach... quite clever really, keep you on for 30 minutes, talking about some gumph, all the while, softening you up for the bullish, hard close. quite clever that is, at the end of the eighties in some Timeshare resort... these lot were in Private Eye a few years back my co director tells me.... forced to change their name from Public Service Communications Agency by the DTI.... a quick google of "psca asa complaint" shows you the amount of money these leeches earn 250 THOUSAND POUNDS A YEAR FOR THEIR TO REPS!!!! .... BE WARNED!!!!! CHARLATANS!!!!!

They called saying they are working on onshore wind farms for various local authorities.  The guy was clearly reading from a script "how are you today etc" so I promptly hung up before the sales pitch got underway

They are a publishing company and are actually quite good! they are the ones that produce those public service books i did marketing for a company an they used to call us we did work with them and were pleased obviously some people dont share the same view but id say its defo something to look into especially if you work with government areas ect

Very VERY pushy sales calls - have marked them on caller ID to ignore them in future!

Pushy - rude and will not settle for a kind "Thank you but No thank you."

I just hung up after being told he would get the MD to fire me because i didn`t put him trough ... I said that would be a difficult job as i am his wife.

Pushy, over familiar and claiming to be working for Nick Clegg. Apparently my name had come up in a meeting and the caller had rushed out to ring me. Must think I came down with the last shower. If they ring you discontinue the call.

They called me just now for 15 mins saying that supposedly they are finishing a project in the public services together with Nick Clegg and themselves from PSCA International. Supposedly my name fell in a meeting and 'someone' mentioned me as I have something to do with NLP. They got quite some information out of what I mentioned (hightlevel luckily what I do) but that soon found it very odd the way things were asked or responded to. When I asked a load of questions back - responses were cage and incoherent and not making much sense. Some [***] about "Devolution of the Decision Making Process" and if in the future I would like to get involved with the Public sector (which they should know already I work in)... Block the number at best since any normal people should either contact you via email first and explain what they want or accept that you may actually be busy working and are not having time to spend more than 10 mins with some stranger on the phone for hot air.
Reading all these comments here now makes perfect sense. Stay away and block the number.

Contacted me around 5 times and never take a No thank you answer and i have requested time over not to be called again. The 6 time they started the same sales line i just hang up - they than had the nerve to call back, calling me rude !! Please don`t waist your time on these ppl !!

So far in 3 days, PSCA have managed to phone 12 times!  Eventhough they have been told to stop harassing us, they still ring back and back.  We have therefore reverted to ignore their calls.

Go to the above web page and read the independant testimonials rather than believe the lies and personal attacks listed above left by people with their own agenda. Ex employees who, rather than than try to build a reputable business like PSCA, would rather make scandalous, unsubstantiated, malicious and false posts on a site like this that cannot be pursued for libel in an effort to damage it. However, PSCA has been in business for over 11 years, employs over 200 people, is professionally and ethically managed, is institutionally backed, has credible non-executive directors on it's board and has stood up to scrutiny during detailed due diligence processes within the last 2 years.

If your company is so reputable why are there scores of adverse comments on this site? Are you suggesting that every post is a disgruntled ex-employee? How many disgruntled ex-employees do you have? What does that say about your business?

01618327387 has five pages of complaints against you.

I have worked in government communications in Whitehall for years and can state quite categorically that your reputation is far from 'reputable'. We receive numerous complaints from companies around the world about your sales tactics. It seems the modus operandi is to claim that you are working alongside government ministers and senior officials - even going so far as to claim that you are in meetings with them and that they insist on specific companies paying to go in your journals.

Would you care to mention the case of unfair dismisal you lost and the £40,000 fine imposed?

Institutionally backed means in your case the RBS assisted with an MBO. And the RBS are bastions of integrity are they?

I suspect very little posted here is unsubstantiated or false, other than your claims to be reputable.

your response makes me think you work FOR them, otherwise why would you check who called you online and leave a message here saying they are very good etc. Your comments are not welcome purely for the fact they ARE rude, pushy and unwelcome as a cold call to most companies!

I agree with everything this civil servant has mentioned about PSCA. Their selling techniques are a lot to be desired, the complaints they receive, cannot be just from ex-employees, Manchester has 5 pages of these complaints, as well as Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent & Edinburgh having up to 3 pages.
