Report a phone call from 01792229220 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- confusion!I've recently taken out a contract with Vodafone through Phones 4 U and have been recieving calls from this number. They called me yesterday, claiming to be able to lower my phone insurance payment. I told them I wasnt interested. Someone called me back today claiming that they had spoken to me on the 17th April and that I had asked them to call me back. This had never happened. The woman on the phone also claimed that she had the phone call recorded - which was impossible as it had never taken place! When I queried why they had called me she became extremely aggressive and started to shout at me down the phone. I then stated that I did not want anyone from that company to call me ever again. Interstingly, when I called back the number they answered the phone by saying 'Real Estate International' - what does that have to do with phone insurance? Very strange. Has anyone else had any similar problems?
- EthanI have indeed, and im only 15. Luckily they called during break time and tried to offer me insurance, I refused stating my age and interestingly she aggressively said bye and hung up. I called them earlier today and they answered quoting "real estate international"...should I report them to Vodafone?
- Caller: " Real Estate International "
- smegJust be patient enough and they will stop calling. Basically they get contracts themselves and cold call numbers close to the ones they are issued and try to get your bank details through such phone calls
- jeni have also recently taken out a contact with vodafone through phones 4 u and was offered cheaper insurance and i stupidly agreed to it. the woman on the phone seemed to already hav my card details an asked for my IMEI number and also passed me over to her so called manager but i hav just noticed that they hav taken £45 from my bank account even tho there was no mention of doing so
- Caller: real estate insurance
- RIm with o2 and they keep calling me.
- Caller: Real Estate International
- DavidCookeSame for me;
'I've recently taken out a contract with Vodafone through Phones 4 U and have been recieving calls from this number. They called me yesterday, claiming to be able to lower my phone insurance payment. I told them I wasnt interested.' - mr jonesi would like to say that they phoned me up offering me insurance i wasnt happy but they give me there fsa number i looked it up and found that they are registed with the fsa so i was happy to go ahead if you look how many companys are registed with the fsa not many as i seen these people are trying to do they job if you worked there and knew they were registed you would be happy to phone people to offer lower price insurance wouldnt you
ps look at there web site www.refis.co.uk- Caller: rei fince services
- leanneI have been very happy with their service, half the price it cost me in the shop and better cover.
- ajayI had numerous calls from this number trying to get my bank details to correct a Direct Debit that apparently I set up. DO NOT GIVE YOUR DETAILS! Its a prank caller! Label it as DO NOT ANSWER on your contacts so you know its the same prank caller
- TinThese people have be calling me continuously since I got my new contract with Vodafone through Phones 4 U. I complained to Phones 4 U as these people knew that this was a new contract and tried to tell me that they were setting up my insurance when I already had it as 30 days free so knew they wasn't and why would they ask me for my bank details if they already had it!! This is Phones 4 U selling numbers and I have an investigation and complaint logged with Vodafone as they only get your number at the moment from the company the contract is with. Very interesting to read the comments that this has happened to most people who purchased a Vodafone contract through Phone 4 U. Never had this on my previous contract direct with Vodafone.
- ALPHAMANFollow this to have some fun--press 141 followed by their number, then put your phone on secrecy and listen to them squirm!!!!
Payback time--do this if you have time and only if its free for you to call the land line numbers of course.....They may understand how frustrating it can be--The more people call them back and give THEM the silent treatment, we could put them beggars out of business.
POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
ALPHAMAN - emma and davidme and my sister both got contract phones from phones 4 u hers vodafone mine o2 emma has had nothing but problems from this company she has had to cancel her card details and everything. luckily she rang the real insurance company cos she wasnt to sure. we are going into phones 4 u to lodge a complaint............watch out my sister is nuts...........god help them
- Caller: ??????
- Denise WarburtonI think ALPHAMAN is right--its great fun to phone them back, aaah! gave me great satisfaction. He He, you should try.
- AliceI have had the same done to me - got a vodafone contract through phones 4 u and these people will not stop calling me - they already had my card details from somewhere and have taken £45 out of my account. I have had to cancel my cards and am debating changing my bank account. If one company has been passed all of my details who else might have???? They also had my DOB, Home humber, address etc etc!!!!
I have reported it as fraud and got a crime reference number in the hope of getting my money back - these people are criminals!!!!!- Caller: 01792229220
- mr xcan i just say that i have been contacted by this company, they offered me the insurance which is only 5.88 per month not payable for 4 months, they do charge 45 quid for the policy but it does save you nearly 100 quid in the long run against phones for u policy admin which is 9.99 with a whopping 50 quid excess fee, reifs is only 25 quid, this is perfect because you dont have the inconvenience of 9.99 on every bill? common sense to swap surely! i have been in contact with them to insure the whole families phones and find them very easy to get hold of and quite pleasant to talk to, the policy itself is administered by supercover and underwritten by equity redstar, far from a scam im afraid! just well done to them for undercutting the rip off prices on the high street!!
- DaleJust had a missed call on my new o2 phone.
- suziewell I am happy with the service provided, I have saved money and now have better cover than before, I'm glad they contacted me i dont want to pay extra money out just to cover the shops profit. All legit and regulated I checked first.
- sarahjust had a call from this company - i too took out new mobile with vodaphone through phones 4 u and took out the insurance - these are another company Real Estate - NOT the company that you took out the insurance with. Ignore them, the way they speak to you over the phone makes it sound like they are your current insurers and they can reduce your payments from 9.99 to 5.88 - do not take up this offer, just phone up your 'real' current insurers, you should have received paperwork and they will let you reduce your payments down to 4.99 a month, but you are not covered if you loose your mobile phone, but you are covered for everything else, I found this ok. If you phone the Real Estate company back, surprise surprise they do not pick up the phone.
- scarlettthey call me every week, and when I cal them back they never answer, dont give them your bank details as I can clearly see from your comments this is scam
- sarahjust thought I'd add - someone commented that it was a better deal and the excess is only 25 quid just wanted to say that my insurance company reduce the 'whopping' 50 quid excess to 10 quid if no claim is made within 6mths. I've had tons of mobiles and never experienced any problems in the first year.. a couple have been not quite right from day one and these have been taken back to the store a few weeks later which they will replace or I've chosen a different phone. This is the first time I've ever had mobile insurance as I upgrade every 18 mths and my phones have seemed to last that long, the only reason i took out the insurance was because it was part of the deal we got and it was well worth it.
