Same [***] called me today - "Ricky" from "Payment Protection Insurance". I told him it had nothing to do with me and to f*** off!

Having read this blog I've been waiting for a call from these tw*ts for weeks! And at last it came a few minutes ago! Having let this (quite pleasant) female give me some speel, I reached up to the shelf in the office, took down my referees' whistle, (Acme Thunderer, Extra Piercing!) and let her have a full blast for a good 10 seconds. I hung up. Cripes, I did feel good afterwards!

Message for the delinquent imbeciles who called me today from this number. They even hung up before I could lift the phone. What is it with these [***]? What sort of mentality (if any) do they have? I hope they read this, because my message is: I know their location (this being only a proxy number) and if they ever call an 028 number again I will set the UVF on them for physical punishment!

The [***] have just phoned me again - woman talking to someone else in their office when I lifted the phone. She didn't bother to wait for me to say anything but just hung up. RIGHT, YOU [***]: YOU WILL GET A VISIT FROM THE UVF. PREPARE TO BE BEATEN UP!

Would you believe it?! These [***] have just called me again - for the fifth time in two days. I am closing in on them: this UK area code 01792 covers Swansea in South Wales; other areas using 01792 numbers include Bishopston, Clydach, Gorseinon, Gower, Gowerton, Llangennith, Mayals, Morriston, Mumbles, Penclawdd, Pontardawe, Pontardulais, Ravenhill, Sketty and Skewen. This time a man's voice identified him as calling from "We claim, you gain", which is an illegal scam. I told him I did not accept cold calls. I suggest that anyone being called by this number should report the matter to the Swansea Police.

8:45am on EASTER BLOODY FRIDAY.  They said I was entitled to PPI claim, when I said for what loan that said they could not tell me because of data protection.  I said I never had it then she prattled on about all this unclaimed PPI and that most people did not realise they had it,  I told her this was a random call hoping I would bite and I put the phone down.  I only wish I had reminded her that it was East Friday holiday and that she should not be calling me at before 9am but I guess calling people on a holiday catches you off guard!!

Have just received a call from this number.  Not just to my mobile, but my landline - in bloody unison at 16.45 on Good Friday.  I didnt know which to answer first - thankfully I chose to ignore both as I didnt recognise the number - so glad I did and I will now bar this number from my phones.

i gt a call from these people about a ppi refund... on my vodafone number.. thats only 2 months old and the only person i have gave my number out is to my girlfriend because of the free calls to family for a fiver... so how the hell did they get my number? cuz she hasnt given out the number

I just got a call from a numpty saying I have made a payment protection claim! asked how they got the number but were nto able to say. Explaned that the number they called was the on call trauma team and that if the number was not removed from their list I will be contacting police for blocking an emergency phone, after a small poo the guy appaulogiesed and said it will get sorted!

Try the same make up random [***] and see what happens.

Yes i too keep getting these calls...late on evening too...now i just ignore but why the persistance and how and why do they get your number?...

Got a call from this number on my mobile, and get the same number calling at least once a week. I refuse to answer to numbers I do not know and let the answer machine pick up messages. So glad I didn't answer judging by above posts!
