Phone call received @ 12:10 on 7th November 2008. As soon as I picked up the phone, it went dead

They hung up again - starting to get annoyed now!  I answered last week and they tried to sell me cheap services, gas elec etc.

I wish I had thier MDs number, I could start nuisence calling him.  That would cheer me up.  I'm sure he is too busy to take stupid calls!!!!!

Call from 00441793484900 to Irish Company they hung up when answered, I imagine this is a system which is going out and collecting numbers to businesses to sell ... like an email address harvester for spam ... am expecting a lot of Spammy phone calls now ... grrr :-(

today, it´s the first time 0044(0)1793484900 called us in germany.

we have recieved a couple of calls from this number over the last couple of days. they hang up as soon as we answer but we ring it back it cuts out straight away without a ring.
we googled the number and found this page as well, but we're not in the area.

I have had around 2 dozen calls from this number, line goes dead or they hang up on me, ANNOYING, got another call this morning, told them to make appointment, will send them away when they get here, if they want to waste time, I can do that also, I have a very busy company to run, lets see how they like it, mayb they will stop hassaling me afterwards.

Stupid idiots called round kept them hanging on in reception for 2 hours, sent them away told them not to come again..........they just bloody phoned me again and hung up, reported them now as we are tps registered.......next time I will let the dogs out on them, see how they like that

This number has called my office a few times in the last few months and just hung up, i tried to call it back but it just goe's dead.

Keep getting calls from this number which then goes dead

Just got a call from this No - we are on the TPS also. It is annoying moreover, it's a number allocated to BT so they could do something about it.

Phone rang then went dead when answered, number busy as everyone has said.

yep, same company same number just phoned again!  tried phoning back, line dead, tried alternative numbers now just ringing out...

just spoke to them, apparently it is their call centre, so am guessing fully automated with numerous gremlins.  very helpfull, but not at all surprised...  number allegedly taken off

I called IMSM and told them to search for the number on Goggle and see how frustrated we all are - we'll see eh? I am sceptical as they are still blissfully carrying on, ho hum....

Our experience was similar to most of the above,  I suspect that they are checking to see if this is a valid number or suchlike

I have alot of experience with nuisance trollers, i suggest they call back later and speak to mr Janus, Mr Hue Janus. ;)

And often they do PMSL!!!!

Called my cell phone in the U.S., near Chicago. Left no voicemail. Why would they be calling me from the UK?

Same with me - background noise, then a dead line

2nd Ghost Call from this number just goes dead.
