Rings everyday and hangs up as soon I say our company name

Same as all the above, phone rings, someone mumbles something and disconnects, call back...line is dead.
Found link to IMSM UK website here, Quality Management consultants?! I suggest these clowns look at their own Quality Systems before scrutinising other peoples. Make official complaints folks, preferable written or e-mail. As part of ISO9001 they have to register them and put corrective actions in place...assuming they actually have it, that is.

Had 2 calls from this number to the office, both extremely rude when I explained we already had ISO9001 via QMS she said that's not what she asked and then I wouldn't put them through to my M.D. they hung up on both occassions.  I don't mind calls as it's their job but not to be rude it isn't.

I had a call from them this morning. Rude person asked for MD and hang up when I told her he's on holiday. I considered it being rude so I rang them back (on the number above - Swindon office) and I told them that I feel offended by their phone call and I am going to keep ringing them every day now just for fun and to piss them off. I also said I'm going to be rude if I feel like it. I was told that that's completely fine and they will be waiting for my calls.

Same as most other people on here, Phone rings, and when i say our company name they hang up. I could briefly here someone talking to someone else, didn't sound like another phone call, sounded more informal. There must be a law against these type of call surely. When i called the number back, i just get a disconnected tone. :o(

Have had continuous calls which end immediately and unable to call back for same reason...I called 01793 421208 from comment below and spoke to Rachel who said it was one of their call centre numbers..............she apologised and agreed to take our number off the mailing list.

I have had 2 calls from this number in as many days, each time as soon as I pick up the phone the line goes dead.

01793 484 900 called yesterday. When i answered, they hung up. I couldn't return call....
They rang again today & a woman asked for the phone account holders name (she actually said the name), i said they were on the other line and who should i say was calling, and she said "International Management Systems" (slightly different to the other 2 instances below). There was a lot of background noise like she was in a call centre and the line kept breaking up.
She said she'd call back later, i asked what was it regarding and she hung up on me.

This number started calling me regularly approx 1 1/2 - 2 months ago and I have received yet another call today. They're calling my home number (?!) which is very odd as it would appear the company deals with ISO accreditation for businesses.

Having checked out their website, which as a web designer/developer I can confirm is awful in the extreme, they are a Swindon, Wilts based company with offices worldwide (allegedly). However, for such a 'large' company I also noticed that all the customers who provide glowing praise on their homepage video are also Swindon based. Surely a coincidence.... ;o)

It would appear that this lot are calling numbers via an autodialer (hence the number being permanently engaged on ring back), seeing which ones are live, then that data is sold on to third party companies so they can then cold call. I say that as once upon a time I worked (for a short while) for a company which did exactly this.

At least they provided me with a bit of snooping this boring Monday. Back to work.... :o)

Some numbnutt from this company just range me. Again. Mumbled and fumbled about wanting the company owner and then said 'wrong number' and hung up - before I'd even said anything. What a mug. Just shows what level of complete cretin gets employed at IMSM.

In response to IMSM Employee who posted on 20 Feb 2010 - at least we don't have to earn minimum wages in a crap environment doing a job that everyone hates you for. I bet you go home and cry yourslef to sleep every night.

look at you all  you have actually sat there searching for these details do you really have nothing better to do seems like you could do with the phone ring for teh whole 10 seconds might keep you on the ball if your life is that dull

our company had a call from this number and asked for me then told a member of staff it was financial but you can not ring them back as the it cuts of we are on the call barring

This number keeps calling me, and ringing off before I can answer.
