Rude and aggressive

This number comes up often - can't hear the speaker so I hang up.

Foolishly answered call from this number because I thought it looked familiar. The only thing familiar about it was the silence from the other end when I answered the phone so I gave them my usual three seconds to speak then hung up. On entering the number into Google I noticed it was already in my history from early December so these timewasters are clearly still operating. Once our government grows a pair we might find these firms actually getting fined for breaking the law (you know, like regular punters would) but I'm not holding my breath.

Well if you are a mature person who works in business then I must heed your advice at once!

Just had the same phone call, your are quite right about not wanting to seem racist but, they can never pronounce my first name right let alone my surname and 99% of the waster of time phone calls are from people with very strong Asian accents who can not grasp the English language very well at all!

Had a call from these people today.  Asian caller dentified himself as being from Financial Services UK and was offering a £1200 refund of bank charges.  He had my previous name and my address and wanted to know other details.  Had trouble understanding much of what he was saying as his accent was so strong.  Glad to find this site to confirm that calls from this number are a known scam.  Will inform police.

Rang my mother, she asked how they have her number as she's ex directory and he said, and I quote, "get stuffed you stupid woman" then hung up.... Charming!

Just had a call claiming to have a cheque for me,wouldnt give him any details so got nasty and i hung up. They tried ringing me again but i didnt answer

Have been getting a lot of calls that go dead on me. The latest one was from this number 17.50 on 3/2/14. Would like them banned. My number is with the TPS.

Had my name and  address and wanted my DOB.  I said expect he (Asian accent) would then ask bank  details. He said "no"  not allowed to do that.  I bombarded him with questions and he eventually hung up.  I dialled 1471 where the number was given.  I then dialled it putting 141 first and not surprisingly the line was dead.

Calls several times and hangs up as soon as I say "Hello"

Received a call from this number on 4 February 2014 at 16:45. Someone said hello then the line went dead,

Just received a call from the same number, indian male quoting first 6 numbers of my card, knew my name d.o.b. , address, bank , i would not give any info, he said I was a very suspicious lady, hung up,BEWARE

Also had call from this number this afternoon refused to give date of birth to her and told her you have my address and name so post cheque out to me to which she hung up on me. Rude lady. I'm sick of them. And also had call today regarding problems with my computer to which I was rude and hung up. do they think we have nothing better to do with our days ggrrr. sick to death of them three four times a day. Really wish something could be done to stop them.

Nobody there and they dont pick up when you call back....making me grumpy!

After a long pause said calling from "UK Financial Services"...  

They're still at it - just got a 'hang-up' call from them.

I also had a call from these people today (6th Feb 14:21). Asian caller was offering to send me a cheque for overpaid bank charges.  He already had my full name and my address and wanted to know other details but when I asked exactly who he was and which company he represented he hung up (FUNNY THAT!).

Reported to the TPS and the ICO - whatever good that does.

These idiots need finding and stopping.
