contact them on 01942 406129 (Mon-Fri 9:30-17:00) it takes about 30 secs give them your number and they take it off and so far it has worked

I'm ex directory, only been connected two months and Icnsatly avemessages from this number. No one is there, it just beeps every few seconds. Tried calling back but it doesn't let me, says the number is out of use.

2100 hours....... can't get hold of anyone in the office, but they call me, over and over...... i bet the staff at FREESTART ever have this f****** problem!! i'm amazed how polite all your responses have been, i'm absolutely sick of it....... 0900 tommorow they WILL be getting a call, i hope they've had a nice sleep....

Keep receiving calls from this number at all hours day and night. As other people rings like a fax and leaves the line busy after hangingup. BT was informed and it stop for a few days. It is now back. I do not have a FAX machine.

I just got through freestart support, spoke to Paul and he assured me, my telefone number will be removed from their list. We'll see. The reasons given are exactly what other people have written before.

i get random calls from the 01942 233134 number and thanks to the advice found on here i have managed to get them stopped. i also recive calls from this number from yorkshire but cant find any info on it, can anyone help the no is 01423 531704 and it rings all day long.

had a bt phone line for 4 months and have been receiving these calls for the past 3 months about 5 or more a day!! thought it was just some tool trying to fax something over and over to a phone line, but with it happening to so many others from the same number now not so sure!! WHAT CAN WE DO TO STOP IT!??

I get these calls mostly in the afternoon. It's a fax, and it ties up your line for several minutes after you hang up. I'm very annoyed.

I called them on 01942 406129 and spoke to Paul Young - ask for him by name. He took our number off the list.

I have bee receiving calls from them about 3/4 times a week, so today i googled the number, its reassuring to know they are con people as up to now i have been politly asking them to remove my number from their system.Might have known bt would have something to do with it.
When i answer they ask for mrs welsh and i tell them they have the wrong number and they try to get me to change my phone contract and will not take no for an answer so i just put the phone down, ut i cant beieve how often they call!!

Oh Freestart Plc - you said this shouln't happen that it was an equipment falt back in Jan 08.
Well news for you, your equipment is f*cked, get a new autodialer or just stop!

This has only started happening since I changed  to a new number which may have previously been a business number. I get 6 calls within 15 minutes, various times of the day and evening and it just gives an engaged tone when I call back
