    Lacey Webb isn't a real Director either - only by title. She's only where she is because she's a 'close friend' of Dave Carter, the MD. It's true she did fail at Sales, then at being a PA (to Dave Carter), then at being head of marketing. She's responsible for Geko's PR, dreadful marketing material, embarrassing website and now a team of inexperienced 'account managers.' Hopefully one day Dave Carter will come to his senses, remove Lacey, and sort the company and its clearly unhappy customers out.

    There is a guy called Tom Warrilow at Geko.  he use to have his own business like Geko and conned loads of people, shut the company down and then set up another and did the same thing.  Avoid this man and Geko.

    guys - for all you who have outstanding balances from Geko would you please contact me if you have any eveidnce of them promising you reimbursement fees etc. I hhave NUMEROUS emails from VARIUS people in their office RE the after market payment when they were in receipt of an invoice from me and a copy of my vodafone termination fee ( i switched to an i phone and orange account through them and was told the cancellation fee of £250 woud be refunded), I have an initial email with names and dates including their proposal to pay me, after market emails which are now deemded to be just a brush off but i have dealt with sales, porting team, accounts and emailed the directors myself. I was even once given a payment date. I am not going to let this settle and the next step is to send them a solicitors letter threatening court, Thet will not have a leg to stand on and it will cost me £50. is anyone else in the same situation? we could team up and get this sorted together, I am also considering an anti Geko facebook page. alli want is my £250 as promised after I done a fair business deal with them.

    Let Orange and OFCOM know what is really going on, visit the trade press site, they have a featured article on Geko, google mobile today and leave a comment, the more you comment the louder the voice, main problem is Orange own a stake in Mainline who are the main supplier to Geko, so it may fall on deaf ears. I know because I was there.

    @The real insider, all you do by hiding your identity is reduce any sort of credence you have.  I am a current employee of Geko and know exactly how much work goes into Ofcom compliance.  If you had worked there then you should know the rigid audit procedure that checks everything complies with GC23.

    There is an article on Mobile Today with a statement from the MD which can explain a lot of the vitriol published on this website.

    Looks like someone already beat you to it with the facebook page. Theres a group called "I Hate Geko Direct", and they certainly don't look like disgruntled ex employee's to me...... Somebody needs to stop them from ripping innocent people off. Especially with their new trick now of trying to penalise their own customers by charging them for the handsets they have had if they upgrade with Orange or another dealer. My friend received a court letter through his door, he had upgraded with Orange when his phones were due, and for some reason they must have thought that by threatening him with court that he would stay with them? They are very underhand indeed.

    Rob, before you criticise people for hiding their identity, why don't you reveal yours? We know you're employed by Geko, but who are you? Maybe you could provide your email address at Geko?

    There are obviously a lot of unhappy customers Rob, rather than trying to defend Geko, why don't you try and do something to help them? You could even document your progress on this website...

    The irony is customers shouldn't have to work at Geko to appreciate how well it complies with Ofcom or GC23, it should be evident in the service they receive.

    Vitriol published on this website? that just sounds arrogant.

    Are you senior at Geko Rob or just a busy body?

    Just had a call from these guys - the caller was honest and said she couldn't help me and would rather not waste my time.  She couldn't have been more polite.

    Just a word on being mis-sold phones though - if you genuinely have been mis-sold a phone, and the company's own customer service will not sort anything out, tell them you will refer your case to the Telecommunications Ombudsman.  This will cost them a fortune (but you can only refer if you have tried to sort it out directly with the company involved first)!  My partner did this on one occasion a couple of years ago where the company that sold him the mobile lied, and then call screened so he could never get through to them.  He faxed them the Ombudsman threat if a manager didn't call him back within the hour.  He was called and refunded fully before having to refer the case to the Ombudsman.  Hassle -yes......but at least you aren't tied in for years and you get your money back (and really annoy the company that annoyed you!).

    Really concerned as they owe me money and it was hard enought to get from them when they traded!

    Tried calling several of there numbers this morning and they just cut me off.  Have just rang again and there is a message to say they have all gone home????? Really what Jokers!

    Anyone know anything?

    Just spoke to Orange and they apparently closed the doors this morning with the staff not being paid for a month ?

    The Orange agent said it wasnt a surprised as they had lots of complainted. Still not sure how to get my cashback, if I can?

    Agreed on Geko. However the companies who phone Orange customers to convert them to O2 have had a few repeatedly go into administration and liquidation https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/01267222640/13 and from the rumours going round they may be about to enter administration.

    It is true. Don't know who the administrators are as yet but will post as soon as I know. You may want to try mainline communication as these are the distributors who allowed Geko to connect. They will be receiving all their on going revenue from Orange.

    Website is www.mainline.uk.com you can also speak to Orange directly and try to escalate to the directors office to claim Geko are in breach of Ofcom General Condition 23 (Mis sold) and therefore ask for the contract to be terminated.
