Got a call from 02070603887 today, from a fast talking India lady regarding PPI claims.  Same as a lot of people on this site, and now I know its FirstCall.   Its an obvious information hunt, they want details of your postcode, D.O.B etc.

Hopefully something will be done about FirstCall, but my first port of call is to download an app to block further calls from them!

I was called by 02070603887 this afternoon. Said I was owed money on PPI.

gauys are stupid or what? I bet, you are your partner are on jobseeker allowance. The Department for Work and Pension hires private detective to spy on you or your partner. Very simple. They gather information about you, to find who cheats.

Had a call from 02070603887 just now asking for the energy bill payer. When I pointed out this was a business line he hung up.

Sounded like a loud call centre as he took a while to speak after I answered

indian accent, no idea why they called.

i get them all the time too they ask a name (not mine) i ask who they are then they hang up  obviously some scam

No message, phone went dead when I answered

Just had a strange call from 02070603887.  Sounded like a young girl/lady with an accent couldn't understand what she said was a very crackly line, then nothing.... so I hung up and did 1471 and then googled it on here.

How do you bar the number?

call from this number saying it was concering ppi overpayment and asking me to confirm post code.

Missed call from this number - will not be calling back.

Phone rang but nobody there

Clearly a scam phone call from someone who wanted to give me a refund then cut the phone off.

Just had a call from this number. When I answered no-one was there. Really annoying.

Had a call from this number today, a heavily accented man saying his name was 'Mark Williams'. I couldn't understand him well enough to catch the company name. He was trying to tell me I have been mis-sold PPI. I told him I hadn't but he kept on anyway spouting random facts about PPI on mortgages and credit cards. After the 5th time of telling him it didn't apply to me and that I hadn't taken out any PPI he still wouldn't stop so I had to put the phone down on him!

It's some blaggers saying that you would be due for a refund due to finance you have taken out recent.

I rang this today, the company was called 1st Call, to do with mis-selling of PPI

Received a call this morning, guy with an asian accent, started by saying it was about ppi reclaim/overpayments. Said I wasn't interested, never ever paid it, he then said it wasn't about ppi, something about banks and lending. Wouldn't stop long enough to listen to me, told me I should listen to him. Said again I wasn't interested and was going to put the phone down, which I did. Very rude person - what part of NO don't these people understand?

This bunch of rectal orifii are a pain in the posterior.
Total scam.
Suggest you dont hang up straight away....
Instead, put the phone handset on the table for a couple of minutes and let them run up a big bill waiting for you to speak to them.  
It wont cost you anything to do this as some people fear.
