Had a couple of missed calls from these people over the last week, I have not returned them or answered them - and wont now I have read other posts. thanks. Will add this to my contacts as "nuisance" so i dont answer by mistake in the future.

Just got a silent call from this number. I will try to find out more, using the info from this thread, on how they operate if I get more.

Called from this number this pm. No speech but muffled sounds like an office.
Seem to be getting more of this type of call.
I will never call them back.

Just another 0207 number that rings and hangs up if you do not answer it after a few rings.
This is something Brit Telecom could stop if it wanted to, but it obviously generates a lot of money for them so we as BT customers have to suffer, if you monitor it to TPS theywill stop it but then the user will only start using another number.YOU CAN'T WIN

My son of  9 took the call, the woman was polite until she asked his age that's when the call became familiar to bloody familiar, bunch of bloody pedo's...

Received call from this number this afternoon couldn't understand them so they hung up.  I rang back and someone said I was entitled to compensation.  The person got very rude when I told him they were spivs and to stop pestering us with unsolicited calls and I then hung up.

If you get a call from this lot tell them to get lost as rudely as you like!

These are now saying they are RBS and repaying a refund.

I missed a call from this number, when I phoned the number there was a pre recorded message saying that I was the only person left in the country.

Called 3 times today from this number, first two times silent call, third time lady with strong accent (not sure where from)  asked to speak to someone i've not heard about before, when I asked who was calling she asked me to confirm who i was, I said no, she hung up.

Tried to offer me a PPI refund - I do not have PPI so I told them they were infringing my privacy. Call came from Durban - they did not appreciate my questions!

I've reported these tossers to Ofcom as Mal suggests we all ought to do and a good idea. They frightened my poor Mother so I want them removed from the UK number they're using.
I did ring them back obviously putting 141 in front of the number and their response varies from hanging up to being very smug or aggressive. One guy when told my Mother is on the TPS said I couldn'd touch him as he was in South Africa. I heard him tapping a computer then asked what her address was so said none of his buisness then came the threat that he'd still find me. However I asked him if he was at 220 Flanders Drive, Mount Edgecombe, Durban and he became a little quieter so added that I had some ex military friends engaged in a security contract at Kimberley who have agreed to pay them a vist on my behalf. I lied but you could tell by a chocking sound and the absence of the smugness that he almost shat himself! After he said I was threatening him and I replied they just want a word with you he hung up.
Oh, then I had fun giving them silent cold calls with free daytime calls of up to an hour as that really did get them pissed off. It first connects with brief faint music then a click then some office sounds then finally someone answered and gets very fustrated at their own treatment!

Just been called by them. "First Call" in regards to PPI. I was very polite and kept repeating I have never had PPI on anything and asked them to remove me from their database and he hung up. Rude.

My mother got a call from this number claiming that she wouldn't remember them. Too right as never had them call before! They told her she they some money they'd got for her from PPI but when she started to ask questions they got very aggresive, understandably upsetting her, and hung up. I took this up on her behalf.

Call yesterday from this number just cut offf when answered on called back, lady with accent said it was First Call

Called today but hung up before I  the phone and left no message. Got number from 1471 but I never call back if I don't recognise the number. Guess I'll add them to my 'spam callers' list.

I got a call from First Call Centre Solutions, and the idiot on the phone said he did not believe me when i said i did not have a mortgage nor credit card nor a loan, as you can imagine i was furious what he said, and he said he was talking to his mate and not me,  I asked him his name and he said Bryan Adams (yeah right) and the company being First Call Centre Solutions!! The number showed on my phone as international though

I have recently moved out from my parents and within days of subscribing to a phone, internet and tv package from sky, I have had several calls from this 0207 number and from an 'international' call. It is really crap that this forum discussion started in June last year and people are still having the same problems!!!

Just attempted to give this buch of cretins more of their own back and the (141 before of course!) 02070603887 number is dead. I wonder if they got fed up with their own medicine?
Although have to admit to having emailled a number of people I knew with the free calls facility so perhaps they've pulled the plug on this number due to nuisiance calls!! Would that explain why some here now reporting the calls being registering as from an international number? In all probability this is temporary and they'll got back to the UK number as people tand not to pick up it showing "International" or "Out of Area".
