I had a call from this number at 9.28am today.
The person with an accented voice spoke reasonble english but I coud tell they were not english. They went on to say about finacial problems from 6 to 10 years ago.
At that stage I had heard enough, but told him that I was not interested and that I would like to know  where he had got my number, and that he was not to ring my number again. With that I did not give him any time to reply before I hung up.

Got a call asking for me by name. I asked who's calling, I didn't note the name but it was about PPI refunds. In an Indian accent, he said "How are you this afternoon", to which I responded "It's the morning in this country". He apoligised, and started getting the giggles as he continued with his script, and then gave up and hung up. Must admit, I did laugh at this one too...

I keep getting calls from this number offering PPI claimback - I am really deaf and this is a problem

next time you get a call from PPI refunds etc,tell them,"sorry mate you are late,i have already had a £20000 refund"that should P*** them off.

Just had a call off them although they didn't say anything and then hung up.

The number I had was 02070603887 which is the right length for a London number.

Not sure who is calling - have not answered but they have called everyday this week. no message left on the answer machine not sure how they got my number ?

Just got a call form them on my mobile - She knew my name and she put phone down on me half way through saying I wasnt interested!

apparently it's PPI - i am being tormented by these [***]! Fcuk all to do with me but they called me on my mobile i answered and nobody spoke it just hung up. So upon checking HERE i will just add it to my list of nuisance calls.
What is it with this PPI bull? Get a life!

I only got 2 pages in but got fed up reading the same things. PPI / postcode lottery..... it's all bull. It's most likely some kind of debt collectors. As soon as you acknoledge any name they're asking for or give a postcode to the adderess you have they've pinned you down and will then go in for the kill by REALLY calling you all day long or escalting the debt to the next level as they have a confirmed address to send an collection agent to.

DON'T ANSWER IT.... PERIOD

Phoned back, and it turns out that it is a agency trying sort out payment protection insurance, which I do not have.
Told them to go forth and multiply.

Don't fear confirming your name and address to a debt company, it stops them putting you on the gone away information network (GAIN) which is not a good thing and lurks around long after any default has become statute barred.

When anyone I don't recognise calls me and asks for me by full name I always ask who is calling first, if they persist, I stop them and say, "I'm sorry, you're not speaking to the right person and then ask them again who their company is" as soon as they give you a company name say "one moment please while I do a security check on your company and i'll just advise you this call is being recorded" - usually the next thing you will hear is "click" as they put the phone down.

somehow this company has got hold of my home number and mobile number, this needs stopping and fast government where aare you, you need to do something about these calls.
