Had a missed call this morning, phoned them back and it was first call. Asked them what they wanted and siad something about a PPI. When i said that was impossible they put the phone down.

i just had the most pressured call from these people, i started to believe they could sort out my ppi and kept saying what is the fee and they said nothing its all free, i still dont believe them and a manager is calling me tomorrow........i am not going a head with this at all!!  idiots they are all indian, i rang back the number and they call themselves 1st call.

This number called us today at 10.20am. Luckily I didn't answer it but this was more by luck than judgement as the number didn't show on the register, only when I dialled 1471. We're registered with TPS so am doubly p*""*d off with them!

I got my first call last week and now they call again i just pressed "ignore" & "reject", easy as.
These gobshites never learn, if we don't answer, then we are not interested

This Claims Management Company is failing to adhere to telephone preference service. The caller insists their call is not a sales or marketing call whilst offering to assess your qualification for compensation for mis-sold PPI.

These fkng idiots call several times some days Im at home and its getting ridiculous. They are foreign and cannot understand them when they speak. They always ask for Mr Evans and we consistently tell them this person does not exist.

SO FED UP with it. Have reported them to the TPP using the 1471 number. This was 020 7060 3887.

Its easy to press ignore or reject if on a mobile.... not house phone. Wish we had same option!

F*****g pests. Jokers and spammers with nothing else to do but annoy people. It is a pretended UK number but is really from South Africa. I am going to get a friend to have them beaten up.

Dont answer to any calls not in my phone book unless I'm expecting someone to ring me, haven't they got anything better to do than pester people??

As soon as answered phone went dead.

Just say - "Oh, you want to speak to my Dad". Then put the phone down somewhere (don't hang up). After a while they'll hang up and they've had to pay for the call too.

How do you stop these jokers. Several phone calls at home and now one to my mobile that I was daft enough to answer.

They have my name, address, postcode, home phone and mobile! I'm absolutely sick of this garbage and I'll never add phone numbers to forms again so they can be sold on for profit. I'll bet these rats never sell their own info.

What's the point if the TPS system when I'm still getting these people calling me. It would drive you insane.

It was all to do with reclaiming misold loan insurance. How many times does it take to sink in I'm not interested.

I get calls from this number on a regular basis.  I have no idea why they are phoning.  I've never had a PPI.  I'm ex-directory, registered with TPS, so don't know how they got hold of my number.  I can only assume they are looking for a previous owner/tenant.  

What I find strange as well is the fact that I have never had calls from companies like these and within the last month, I've had another company using the number 01618501071 phoning me about PPI.  So now I have 01618501071 and 02070603887 phoning me.  It is turning into harassment now.  I will be reporting 02070603887 to TPS.  I have reported 01618501071 to TPS, but they can't trace a company using that number.  

Re the petition to ban this number, what are the chances of it succeeding?  I will sign the petition, but wonder if any number has ever been banned.

Just had a call from this number this afternoon. Our Landline telephone no. Is ex-directory, is registered with the TPS and also has a "Blocked function" meaning anyone who witholds their no. cannot ring us.
The woman was asking for a Mrs McCleoud and when I explained I was her, the rude cow (who told me her name was Carly when I asked for it) then hung up!
I immediately dialled 1471 and got this no. but on the automated answer message associated with this no. it then says to ring an 0870 no.
Ive done what previous people on here have mentioned and reported it to Action Fraud and Orange (who gave us our landline no.).
Rude, invassive xxxxs Hope someone rings them at stupid o clock and disturbs then with a gormlous telephone call.

This is very simular to the telephone call I had this afternoon.
Whoever had previoulsy been allocated my landline no. are always being asked for my cold callers. I am fed up of saying they no longer have this no. we are different people who now own this landline and the no. And like you, when I explained that I wasnt who they wanted, they then hung up. Charming!
