I answered the phone to this number and they asked for somebody that does not live here (i have been here for 6 years now)!!

I told them to stop ringing and they hung up.

It was an Indian sounding man.

It's cold caller asking about PPI...

just answered a call from this number, after third time of asking who he was, I finally got the answer he was from first call, i think, his English was very poor. Advised him i was with the tps and hung up. why dont these people get the hint and bog off, if i wanted to buy, claim back or report something i would phone someone

Phoned an XD and TPS registered number at 1712hr today asking for somebody who had this number before me.  Then hung up.

Lady with foreign accent said her records showed " you may be due a refund on a credit card you've had in the last 10 to 15 years" without even asking for a name.  She asked if I was at my postcode - very suspicious so I put the phone down.

Could barely understand the caller. Had to ask 3 times to clarify who they were asking for. When I advised the person didn't live here (he does - ha ha!!) they didn't even apologise for wasting my time - he just hung up. Could do with learning some manners - the ignorant little piggy.

We've been on TPS for years and have always been ex-directory.  We don't give out our number to any businesses we always specify contact by email only. So I wonder where they got our landline number from?

Out of principle, we would never use the services of any company who cold calls.

No calls from these type of morons for more than a week, then this load of idiots start messing today with my phone and private life.

Seem to be one of many getting calls from this number.  They did not get me and I have not called back.

I have just had a call from 02070603887 I get a recorded message saying this is a digital number and it is up for sale, I have also had calls from a 0044 number saying the same thing. I do geet from a strange number 0000000, they are such a pest, I NO longer answer my phone. Thier should be a law against this, it drives me mad. All the best

I have had several calls from this number but they just hang up when I answer.  Very annoying!

I just received a call from them with some lies about PPI claims I am due, he even confirmed to me my full home address, I don't know where they get your personal details from. If they were based in the UK I would report them to the FSA, but as they are operating abroad, there is probably nothing the regulator can do.

all 0207 numbers are part of the BT group of partnerships so if you want to stop nuisance calls phone BT and ask them to stop giving out your phone details

Just hung up when I picked the phone up.

Just had them call me. Told me my name and address and then told me I was eligible for a PPI payment refund. Then asked me if I was actually paying PPI and started asking about my credit cards.
I told them that if I were genuinely eligible for refund, they should write to me explaining how much I'm getting and when the payment is due, then hung up.
Am registered with TPS

Get an android phone mate. Far better open software, with the option to 'send straight to voicemail' for any number

I let the answer phone pick this one up as it was a Friday morning (so wouldn't be my mum!).

Nicky, the nice South African Lady, called me about recovery of 'mis-sold PPI'.  Since I have never had a loan let alone buy PPI I knew this was rubbish so we did not get to the business of asking for my Bank Details (I see from internet others have been scammed).  She confirmed that she was calling from First Call Direct 220, Flanders Road, Mt Edgecombe, Durban ZA.  How come 1471 shows 02070603887?

Had a call tonight same number, sounded like the idiot on other end could not even speak english,or was thick, i blasted down phone with my air horn and they have not called again, i find a whistle also works or one of those lady alarms, ha ha ha.
