get these calls often ,i just ignore them ,i am on tps they need reporting

Got one of these calls 7.45 This evening -  I dont want any of these type of calls and amsupposed to be on BT phone preference service how do they get through?   Getting junk calls on my mobile now too from an insurance firm!

i get theses call regular ,i dont even answer the phone sometimes very anoying.i am even on the tps .service

I have rung David Thompson (Accounts Manager) on 0161 211 4518 asking him, time and time again, to remove me from their data base. Each time he has promised to remove me and still has not done so. I've explained I'm on TPS but he still has his company call me ever day now. This has been going on for weeks and I am feeling very harassed and it is effecting my health.

UK Claims management here.  Can we speak to Mr.?  Told the guy he was out and was trying to find a slot in Mr?'s diary..  All nonsense of course but wasted five minutes of their time.

If you get this cold calls. Do what I do!!!! Speak to them & say you will go get the owner of the house, put the phone in the side & GO & WATCH TV!!! I'm not paying the phone bill!!! It's great fun!!

Received threatening call from this number - demanded credit card details & if not given would call in person as they had our address. Reported to the Police

As usual, caller asked for my wife to answer a survey.

Managed to waste 3 minutes of his time before he ran out of patience.

Perhaps that is the way to deal with them?

Just keep on asking them questions!

We were receiving up to ten calls each day from one or another of these companies.  We have caller ID so now when we recognise the number or it's withheld my daughter answers the 'phone; she is a wonderful mimic and pretends to be a Chinese takeaway and keeps asking them for their order and repeating the phrase "No Problem" to everything they say.  It drives them mad!!!  Not had a call for some time now........

Despit being Call preferencial Service I still received a phone call for advice in making a claim

These people asking to speak to Mrs ******** my mother, and as my mother died 2 years 7 months ago I said sorry but she passed away a couple of years ago the girl who sounded Indian said sorry and hung up.   I wonder if they will phone back no doubt they will. Did not say who she was calling from.

Yep - it is happening again despite being registered for no cold calls and never agreeing to surveys etc. Used to get car accident compensation claims now moved on to PPI or dredit card insurance. Also said I must have agreed to be phoned in previous survey which is not true. This must be the 10th time I have been called. Interesting that th call was from S Africa this time but showed as this UK number - surely it is not beyond the abilty of someone to sort this out - or is this what de-regulation does!!!

Had a call just now from 02070606042. A young woman said she was from UK Today and doing a 'survey'. I asked her where the office was based, she went off for a minute and came back to say it was a UK company outsourcing their calls to South Africa. I tried to tell her that i was registered with TPS in UK and her firm was breaking UK law by cold calling, but she kept talking all over me. So I put the phone down.

TPS is useless.

that same number rung my landline today "tuesday 2nd october" at 11:43am and took up space on my answering machine,but due to the fact i was on the way out of the house to go to a business meeting i paid the call no mind.
I,ve not long got back home so because i did not have any recollection of any 0161 numbers i googled it and hence brought me to this site and your post.
I have just rung the number back after reading your post to talk to this Account  Manager David Thompson but all i have got so far "is "this number has not been reconaissed please check and try again" 3 times from the operator."PLEASE EXCUSE THE SPELLING ERROR"
I am also registered with TPS aswell so i don,t fully understand why these people would want to contact me because i am very careful with what information i disclose online.
For now i will monitor any contact from this company and if any i will post it up on this site.
'djb' sir try not to let these people affect you in any wa especially any aspects of your health.
Together we the rest of the people who have also posted on this site  we will end their stupid behaviour permanently by legal process you have my word as a  gentleman on this issue.
For now i would everyone to post times and dates of any contact you recieve from this company and keep in touch via this site so why can end their stupidity.

a man called offering servey which could lead to follow up calls. I stopped him there and said no thank you as we get enough calls and would not want more. The man still pushed and at that point i said excuse me i said no thank you sharp tone to my voice. He then said ok mam we will keep calling till you do, I gasped and told him that was very rude, he repeated we will keep phoning till you do and hung up.

Keep ringing!

TPS is a waste of time & money. It has no teeth in any event. I asked to register a complaint, and was told I would have to complete a form detailing the offending company, which is difficult when callers don't tell you- or give fictitious names. However I accepted the offer of some forms for current & future use about a fortnight later I got ONE !

Receive several of these calls during most week
