Once again Calzey  is advertising  for wine openers to make hundreds  of cold calls a day.

Hey i know, why dont you offer your old partner Barry Gamble the job. He probally needs the work now he is in bankruptcy.  I am  pretty sure his trustees would look like he's  showing willing to pay off his debts and declare all his income.

Stll a rented house in Tadworth  Surrey is a long way from the house he lived in at Luton Lu3 with what looks like his mum Susan and brother Ashley Gamble.  Wonder if Ashley worked for his brother
or his mum. OMG was it all cash in hand, you know self employed...

Still cant figure it out why calzey is  still getting  away with this wine scam. Anyway  Calzey lasted longer then Gamble, for now.

does Calzey put his staff on a self employed  basics? ?.?

    Hello Kel,
I am currently concerned about my elderly Dad (82) who has, I've discovered, spent several thousand pounds with this Imperial Wines of London and has been getting continued overly-familiar sales calls from a girl supposedly at 60 Gresham Street. Please would you contact me about it?
    Regards,

    Hello CR
So sorry to hear your father as been unfortunate enough to have be conned into dealing with this company IWL.,
He has probably been sold wines at extortionate prices which borders on fraud and will be left with annual storage costs at a bonded warehouse.
My advice is do not have anymore dealings with this company, any profits promised on your fathers investment will not materialise. The only people who will make profit is the unscrupulous, scammers at IWL who masquerade as Wine Merchants.
The fine wine market can have may pleasurable benefits but sadly companies like IWL continually drag this fine industry into the gutter.
I am in the process of taking legal action and I have also been asked to pass all information regarding my dealings with IWL onto an Investigative Journalist.
Names like Mark Reilly and David Angel who sold me my wine while working for IWL will be investigated.
Suggest contacting Action Fraud and explain this Company is targeting your elderly father.
    Good Luck.

An example of how Imperial Wines Of London operate and sells wines to it's clients.
In August 2011 IWL sold me a case (12x75) of Leoville Las Cases 1990 for £3835.00, the peak trading price this wine has ever achieved is £2662.00 per case.
This is a overcharge/profit of £1173.00 per case, I understand trading to make a profit but this mark up is extortionate bordering on fraud.
Also if you decide to leave your wine in a bonded warehouse you will incur annual storage fees.
These storage fees are actually competitive and your wine is stored in perfect conditions.
Think carefully before trading with this company.

Its a shame that Sharia law is not in the UK  no costly trial they would be stripped of all assets imprisoned and their relatives would be held responsible to pay the debts. UK is tied up in red tape and is just a merry go round for solicitors and the legal profession

Ben Andrews replies to Benjamin Cazaly
    Hi Benjamin
I feel compelled to respond to your contribution on the Wine scam industry and reputation you are defending of Imperial Wines London, (IWL).
May I contribute my 'twopence worth' from my first hand experience of IWL this morning.
I was called up by a fairly intense fellow trying hard to interest me in wine investing, specifically in 'Leoville La Cases', at £3250 a case. This "too good to miss investment" had to be grabbed "now, today" and the conversation went on until, remarkably,  tired and wanting to get on he  inched out all the credit card details needed for a £100 deposit. We started off with him just wanting my chosen card expiry date!! So Ok you can argue that I was suckered in by a sharp salesman. Fine I'll accept that I was. So now we come to the reflective moments after the event. You'd call it the beginning of the cooling off period - you know when the salesman is off your back and you can start to think straight. Well I did and the reassuring patter i'd heard about refundable deposits and no issues with money back starts to give one a warm sensible feeling back. So I begin with 1471 to get the number back of the salesman's call - but guess what,  it's a 'cannot be given out' recorded message. Not good. So next I check out your website,  because hours later nothing has come through email for me to peruse over the weekend the guy said. Now here's were all the fine words you offer fall flat. On the website there are two numbers:  T: 0800 678 3117
    and T: 0203 411 1111 and an Email: enquiries@imperialwinesoflondon.com.

Neither telephone number works. ......I'm beginning to feel like I've been robbed.
I have had no response to two emails.
The web site 'Contact us' page doesn't won't work either. When I click 'send' all that comes up is: - "Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method".

What administrator?  What other method? So what are people supposed to do to register a cancellation within 14 days? It's such bad PR to make clients think they have been scammed - because that's how I'm feeling now. SCAMMED. The only useful thing you've helped me with is that the City of London Police have been successful in contacting you in the past so I'll be trying them next...then Face Book, Linkdin, and then I'll be coming down to your offices, mad as hell demanding my cancellation refund and compensation for the run-around you've given me. Thanks for the invitation to you our offices at 1 Poultry in London, I'll add that as an address to visit.  I will be delighted to have you sort this out there and then in person, but to be honest a telephone number would have saved me a lot of hassle and you the Coach fare and a day's compensation. What do you say? I've had a [***] day worrying about what might have been done with my credit card details. I cannot believe your company is still operating like this seven years on after a police investigation.
