Ben Andrews replies to Benjamin Cazaly
    Hi Benjamin
I feel compelled to respond to your contribution on the Wine scam industry and reputation you are defending of Imperial Wines London, (IWL).
May I contribute my 'twopence worth' from my first hand experience of IWL this morning.
I was called up by a fairly intense fellow trying hard to interest me in wine investing, specifically in 'Leoville La Cases', at £3250 a case. This "too good to miss investment" had to be grabbed "now, today" and the conversation went on until, remarkably,  tired and wanting to get on he  inched out all the credit card details needed for a £100 deposit. We started off with him just wanting my chosen card expiry date!! So Ok you can argue that I was suckered in by a sharp salesman. Fine I'll accept that I was. So now we come to the reflective moments after the event. You'd call it the beginning of the cooling off period - you know when the salesman is off your back and you can start to think straight. Well I did and the reassuring patter i'd heard about refundable deposits and no issues with money back starts to give one a warm sensible feeling back. So I begin with 1471 to get the number back of the salesman's call - but guess what,  it's a 'cannot be given out' recorded message. Not good. So next I check out your website,  because hours later nothing has come through email for me to peruse over the weekend the guy said. Now here's were all the fine words you offer fall flat. On the website there are two numbers:  T: 0800 678 3117
    and T: 0203 411 1111 and an Email: enquiries@imperialwinesoflondon.com.

Neither telephone number works. ......I'm beginning to feel like I've been robbed.
I have had no response to two emails.
The web site 'Contact us' page doesn't won't work either. When I click 'send' all that comes up is: - "Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method".

What administrator?  What other method? So what are people supposed to do to register a cancellation within 14 days? It's such bad PR to make clients think they have been scammed - because that's how I'm feeling now. SCAMMED. The only useful thing you've helped me with is that the City of London Police have been successful in contacting you in the past so I'll be trying them next...then Face Book, Linkdin, and then I'll be coming down to your offices, mad as hell demanding my cancellation refund and compensation for the run-around you've given me. Thanks for the invitation to you our offices at 1 Poultry in London, I'll add that as an address to visit.  I will be delighted to have you sort this out there and then in person, but to be honest a telephone number would have saved me a lot of hassle and you the Coach fare and a day's compensation. What do you say? I've had a [***] day worrying about what might have been done with my credit card details. I cannot believe your company is still operating like this seven years on after a police investigation.

someone called Christopher Shipton was hand in glove with the fraudsters who ran the Property Partnership landbanking scam in Bromley and the bent solicitor Dale R Walker who got banged up in jail for 6 years in 2015 for the key role he played in another massive investment fraud with another bunch of crooks from Bromley. Is it the same Christopher Shipton?

I worked for this company for about a month and left, I quickly grasped the fact that the company are just money grabbers all thinking they'll get rich quick, you get cold called by a junior broker trying to get you interested. Then you get a call from another guy trying to make you buy wine, the investment is a scam the wines aren't worth what they say they are and they won't sell it for you, and that's if they even buy the wines to put in London city bond for you, I'd stay away from this company if you want to buy wine use BERRY BROTHERS they're a trusted company and are probably the only company that are legit.

These people are scum of the earth for what they’ve done. A certain broker is lucky I haven’t seen him since but I haven’t forgotten his face . I’m very well connected now and I know people who have been conned by him. All these scammers think they have gotten away with their crimes but know this, people haven’t forgotten and you’ll be forever looking over your shoulder. 5 bags for a long overdue comupunce is money well spent.

Scroll to the bottom of the webpage on the following link (Jim Budd's blog), where someone has posted on 18 April 2018 -

" Malcolm Hills now lives in Wales in a small village called Llyngwyrrill "

Is this correct, or is it just Malcolm spreading fake news?

The disgraced solicitor Dale R Walker from Sevenoaks, Kent was actually sentenced to 5 years 6 months in April 2015 (five weeks before the article below was published by the Mirror) for his part in this massive investment fraud

    https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/jail-landbanking-fraudsters-who-thought-5820357

Assuming that convicts are normally released from prison after serving one half of the length of their sentence (to serve the second half on licence in the community under supervision). does this mean that Dale R Walker was released in January 2018?

Beckenham Eagle fan replies to BBW
Over 6 years ago, on 14th May 2012, Jason Anthony Chalk of BLAKENEY BRIDGE WINE Ltd and LONDON CARBON NEUTRAL Ltd posted on this blog (see page 3) that he would take legal action against Beckenham Eagle, if Beckenham Eagle did not remove the true comments made about BLAKENEY BRIDGE WINE Ltd.

In spite of Jason Anthony Chalk's threats, Beckenham Eagle did not remove the comments. I can confirm that more than 6 years on, Beckenham Eagle is still waiting for Jason Anthony Chalk (now aged 47) to take legal action.

I invite everybody to re-read Jason Anthony Chalk's post of 14th May 2012, which he made whilst acting as company director for both BLAKENEY BRIDGE WINE Ltd and LONDON CARBON NEUTRAL Ltd. Then read this statement issued by the Insolvency Service on 25th November 2015....
