    Mrs C Millington
This number called our home today at 14.08 and when I answered he asked for my husband.
I explained that he was at work and could I help as I was Mrs Millingon.

He hurriedly said No, no that's alright I will call tomorow if that is better, and I replied 'no not really, can I help'.

Again he hurriedly left the call and put the phone down.

I then did a 1471 and googled this number.

This company are the same conmen who were behind Pacific Continental and Bishopsgate Capital. It is a con. I was intrigued but after 10 mins of research I was quick to run away. These are morons who read from scripts and prey on the elderly and naïve. Test them by asking questions about the financial markets and they’ll start stuttering. They are uneducated wide boys. Avoid. Anyone who posts that there are courteous etc are employees. It is a well-known trick; they’ll get a Jnr to do it. Shame on you. Get a real job.  As for the prestigious location, I’m sure their 900% profits pay the rent quite comfortably.

'am seriously considering purchasing, well worth a listen' dont make me laugh.

I received a call from this company yesterday.  I said I was not interested (I am 76) at which the caller became shouting and aggressive.  I asked for the brochure simply because I was interested to see what kind of scam this is.  It has happened before.  No way would I invest but fortunately I have advisers and family members who are experienced in business.

Just got a call from 02073309311 who say they are from Century Land Group. Google immediately
guesses “Century Land Group Scam” which is immediately suspicious. They aren't registered with the FSA either.

Haha! Get this - you don't have to investigate further than the bottom of every page on their web site:

"Century Land Group Ltd is not authorized or regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Century Land Group Limited will not apply for planning consent relating to its sites as a whole and does not provide services to plot owners collectively.
All land is offered freehold without planning consent and no guarantees are given that planning consent will be granted in the future."

Erm, call me a legal sleuth if you like, but that's not just a disclaimer - it's spelling out that they are not going to make any guarantees for or take any responsibility for your investment, which means they can just take your money and run...

I can't believe people are still selling/falling for this greenbelt scam. Just call the local authority and ask what the chances of planning are. They buy it for eg 100k and sell it for 2 million. If you have 50 years you might see a return. Actually make that a 150. A scam. the whole 'energetic salesman pitch' is no tired.

how is selling land a scam ? also is that how planning is decided in the uk?, you just ring the local council and they say yes/no, ha-ha I wish it was that easy, there are guidelines planning policies and the council cannot say yes/no black or white, your comment is so un educated if it was a case you just ring the council and they say yes/no people would spend all day finding land ring council get green light and buy it, which would in turn make the council liable, in future do research first before comments I am charted surveyor, and your silly comment will 1. waste councils time 2.missin form the general public

ps you must have zero business sense, sectors all over the world buy low sell high, e.g i phone £12 to make retail £400. your whole life is based on that.

    Regards

I am thinking about investing in Century Land, they have been very diligent in their approach. Good telephone manner and there literature looks good. I have received information on past projects so it looks above board. I think i'll go ahead..

'missin form'? Oh you mean 'misinform'. I doubt you are a chartered surveyor as you can't even spell it.
Like I said, the poor grammar will give these conmen away. You also spelt 'un enducated' wrong. The irony.
Selling land is a scam. Go back to your script.

iv always been sceptical of all kinds of investments to be honest, but this did become attractive to me once seeing the literature...im still sitting on the fence here and unsure of what to do with my money. I dont see how this concept could be so bad. Are the FSA responsible for regulating such an organisation??...i read elswhere that they are not...surely they would regulate financial organistions, i say this due to the fact that they do not regulate estate agents...is this not the same concept?..nonetheless i am still on the fence and looking at opportunites as i cant keep my money under my matress for too much longer! :)
