- Henry - mkhad two phone calls, so that was nice. the first call fobbed him off while i looked up the website and stuff, they do exist. second phone call said i needed to talk to other half, what with it being a prize i shouldnt need to be rushed into a decision or pay a deposit. The caller then showed his true colours. He acutally told me that he is on commision, that should i not get my deposit back then i would just need to call the police and i would get it back straight away, and he doesnt work for them but is a free lancer who gets a cut of all sales brought in.
So my verdict - i kinda want to do it as it is a good deal, free day out and all BUT i cant stress this enough, NO WAY IN HELL WILL I GIVE HIM MY BANK DETAILS.- Caller: studio london

- foxxyRecieved first call from this number today but missed it and no msg was left. Can't wait for them to call back so I can chat for half an hour and then tell them I have no face...ha! Maybe I'll tell them it got ripped off by a baboon...if they hang around long enough to ask. I wonder if they could style my hair and photograph the back of my head?

- fyiI got a call from them today and they were really pressurising, as soon as they said I would have to pay a deposit that's when alarm bells went off and I knew they weren't too good! So they wouldn't accept that I was busy and had no free time and I managed to get them to call me back later once I had 'checked my calendar' as it was the only wayu to get rid of them but I'm pretty much going to ignore the call next time they ring!
My friend told me it was because she went on a photoshoot there and she gave them my name and number but she said NOT to go because in her words 'They literally force you into buying the photos so don't go!' and then she apologised!
So be extremely careful with these people! - BenI just got a call from these fraudsters. It rang and then I hopped away from my desk and said Hello. They never did answer. Tried calling them back but just a funny engaged tone. I guess they will call me later. Thanks for the heads up from the 100's of other people on this site. If and when they do call up, I will be asking them for more details to hand in to my local police station.

- GlennJust had a call from a chap who said is this....my first name and i said yes, they then said is it......my surname and i said yes and then the line went dead. I range back straight away (using a work line) and its engaged ! Glad of this website. liked to know how and who gave them my details.
- EmmaIve had about 15 calls in the last 2 weeks and have rejected them all. I googled the number cz I was sure 020 was a London area code, and im from Devon so how the hell did they get my number! Ive also been sent junk mail like catologs etc with my full name and address on them from other companies, just from writing my details on job application forms! Seems that you cant trust anyone! I found this website very helpful and I hope that these scamers get what they diserve!!

- HananzaI've just had a phone call them saying that I'd won the online competition that I had entered 6 months ago, and I had won a free make over and photoshoot. I told them I hadn't entered any competition and they hung up!
I did however get conned into this at the start of the year... One of my old friends had gone to London to do this photoshoot and decided to give them my name and number. They phoned up the day after her shoot and pushed me into booking the same shoot on London for 2weeks time. At the time they would not tell me how much the photo's would cost, just that the price would depend on how many photo's I bought. I looked them up online and immediately cancelled. I found out shortly after cancelling that my friend had been conned into spending hundreds of pounds on about 10 photo's. The only money they got out of me was a £1 booking fee. - P'd off in LondonPhone is registered with TPS, still keep getting 1/2 dozen nuisance calls a day from this number.

- SamHad a missed call, no voicemail. Thanks to this site, I am avoiding a SCAM,
- SamThey phoned me today, I had just woken up after night duty. I kept asking who he was and how he got my number, he kept repeating paparazzi (offering no explaination as to who or what this was) he said I entered a different competition TWO years ago so they had my number on the system. I told him I wasn't interested and couldnt make it to london due to work commitments, but he was very persuasive in the end I got bored of telling him I wasn't interested so I told him I'd have to sleep on it so we'll see if he rings back tomorrow. I would never give out my bank details over the phone anyway. The man on the phone was quite pleasant so I'd imagine a lot of people are talked into it.

- snappyd| 1 replyGreat..they phoned me....I was told I won an online competition for 1hour of studio time....I didn’t get the gist straightaway as I am a photographer myself...I replied politely "no thanks"......no hassle..she accepted....but I probably will get another call some time...
I have worked with so many women who get excited when they hear they have won a competition...until I gentle inform them that "all are winners"...until they get to the end of the day....the day works out as a session obviously... hair and makeup styling...
At one time, they showed slides of your pics...any you didn’t like they threw in the bin...you then get down to the last ten and of course the selling starts...an album at "X" amount of money...by then you don’t want to leave without them...I used to have their clients begging me to copy their shots..I could have charged £15 a copy print instead of their £50....but I didn't...which of course copyright laws wouldn’t allow...I couldn’t deal with people in that manner..
.
I might be wrong but I don’t think this one is a scam...just plays on people’s emotions...if you can afford it..then that’s your choice...but don’t believe that they have singled you out....you are probably one of many thousands on their database - daga replies to NickThey called me just now saying they were from "Paparazzi" and that I have entered a competition a while ago, and that I have won vouchers of 250! I told them I find that very hard to believe and hung up.
