I just got a call from this number, I heard a male voice say "Lisa, this is one of my favourites" and then they hung up.. totally bizarre! Glad I googled the number and found this site- they seem like a dodgy bunch.

Please investigate this SCAM for fraud. A Lady claiming to be ''Devina'' ( she spelt her name for me rushing me constantly) phoned me on my mobile number from telephone number 02075800818 & emailed me claiming I

had won a free photoshoot worth £250 for myself & 1 guest I can bring along.  

'Devina' has a thick foreign accent sounded like she was speaking through a computerized voice changer & demanded a £30 deposit in case of a 'NO show' wasting the time and expenses of the 'allegedly professional''

make up artist & hairstylist who worked on Michael Jackson Kylie Monogue Lady Gaga amongst other celebrities etc claiming it is refundable because my bank gives me an authorization code. but that code is to allow her

PDQ machine from accepting payment from my card. It won't help me get my cash back.

Retail staff who also have a retailer authorization code for their stores needed for security measures to ensure genuine transactions are made between banks & stores.


It won't help me get back £30 if she stole it from my account using my 12 digit card number which I gave her over the phone in a rush ezxcited about waht I was going to wear to the shoot & how I would find someone in

time to join me. I even told her I know good looking people who could come with me & contemplated ringing them during the call to ask about availability for tomorrow or monday! (Homer Simpson - DOH!!! arrgggh)
Devina already had my cell phone number and full address which she needed to confirm on the phone to post me a pack, and full name but she asked for my age & landline telephone number, payment method which I

gave her etc.

Cccording to the bank whom redirected me to call centres in INDIA I rang the bank a dozen times to block all transactions.  There should be a zero balance.

If she steals from the bank claiming to be me the bank's insurance will cover the BANKS MONEY for FRAUD. But customers money is not protected.

I told her this she claimed I can check company register to see if they are legit I said ''register doesn't mean anything to me businesses go insolvent all the time running off with stakeholders/shareholders money all the time

claiming bankruptcy overnight!!!!''

searching google!!!

Surely they can afford for the website & email to be the same?  Surely someone there drives a car to offer me a lift to their studios foregoing the deposit needed for no shows??

When 'devina' asked me to ''quickly'' check if I received her email ( which I stupidly gave her MYSELF over the damn cell phone spelling it out for her joking about it on her request for my Private personal email address)  I

noticed the alleged parazzi (as she spelt it) address was in expensive euston in London on great portland street.

I was so excited thinking I had one I was shaking.  She told me quickly to buy 5 outfits then proceeded to LIST exaclty what items I need to purchase for the 5 looks also adding I should bring covers of magazines for the

looks they will re create on me.  She claimed I must have filled out polls & won a competition at the same time.  But I do not do polls online I told her.

She said bring magazine COVERS of models actresses etc.  come to 120 Great Portland street she said.


I invited her otu shopping with me to help me pick the outfits.  she told me to bring a sister or boyfriend or anyoen for their free shoot also and that I only need to pay £30 once & not for us both.

Website did not open at first & went to this domain site saying the site would be deleted this month in sept 2010.

She claimed they are near oxford circus opposite BBC studios.  Oxford circus is on  the other side I had already checked this route to London as I had a meeting on tuesday in the exact same location but I cancelled

because its costly to go eustons great portland street tube station for me. £100.00 return on taxi fare + £8.00 congestion charge

There was along initial pause in the telephone line when I picked upo my mobile phone they maybe calling from abroad long distance.

I kept her talking for an hour from my excitement at winning a photo shoot.

I eventually said let me ask my mum after divulging 12 digits of my card.  she now has additional info like my landline tel number & part of my card details.

If she has access to any receipts many stores print the last 4 digits on those.

I have blocked my card on the telephone but between now and tomorrow when I go to the bank in person any fraud is possible.

The name of her company is ''Bookings & Promotions'' in the email below.  But she told me to google their post code instead for the map on how to get there.  Then she claimed ''Iloveparazzi'' spelling papparazzi wrong on

the phone was the website.  But it is not.

She said her mum would kill her TOO if she gave £30 over the phone to a lady ringing for a photo shoot when I said my mum would kill me first.  When I asked her to come shopping with me and pick me up from my home

& drive me to her studio herself.  she said she does not drive & laughed saying I am old enough to make my own decisions now.

I asked if her make up artist or stylist would drive & pick me up ensuring they don't need £30 deposits because they would know I am coming for sure then.

She laughed & said they cannot pick up everyone & forcibly tried to book me for monday or tomorrow asap for 3:15pm.

Google has hundreds of complaints from them.  they been miss calling all of us through spoof sms from t mobile or faked texts.  Another number also rining on the same two past days is another scam number with same

voice changer voices claiming to be from t mobile asking what model of phone I have.

I even told devina I would send the photos to producers & directors & she can have the shoot with me for free.  she said she had it 5 years ago herself.  has the company been there 5 years?

I am so stupid I should have seen all these mistakes but I felt her rushing me was dodgy I am just too friendly & chatty gullible & naive. Get your money back if you have not already.

Their so called customer account manager has the nerve to leave fraudulent claims on these forums too claiming they are legit under various names caliming we can email them to give them our email addresses so they

can cancel us from their call list.  they just want you to confirm your email is legitimate to them so they can harass you with more calls from mutiple skype numbers.

I met a persian lady online fluent in farsi who is part of a gang of con artists like devina but is from scotland. Probably not even persian as she claims. she uses various IDs nicknames online in yahoo chatrooms & paltalk to

con boys out of money etc she also USES skype numbers to call people for scams.

Devina said they would spend 5 hours on my shoot & provide refreshments, hair would be styled but not cut or coloured, professional ceelbrity make up artists & hairstylists & photographer would take 60 shots.

Their actual website shows rubbish photos with zero quality & no celebs.

If they began business in august last month then close of business will be end of september 2010 when they go insolvent or bankrupt?

Her list of outfits for me was:

3) traditional (whatever that is)

5) Long dress

authorization code gurantees the deposit she said.  I know it does for you devina on skype!!!

I only know her numbers skype from pasting it here & skpe automatically comes up with text highlighting them.

go to your banks close accounts & get new ones with new sort codes and account numbers.

my boyfriends been getting calls off this number for months now asking for katie and he told them everytime that there wasnt a katie for this number, then he put the number in google and found this site. they've just rang and asked for katie again and his reply was 'sorry katie passed away last week and we burried her yesterday' the woman on the other end was gob smacked and after a while she appologised and said she understood his loss and would remove the number from the list. R.I.P katie lol.

A workmate of mine haned over a hundred and eighty numbers to this company to get a discount on the photos, hence I have been getting calls from them.....when I eventually answered them I asked them how much they would pay ME! the girl seemed confused as she expected me to pay them, I then explained that I was a male model and if they wished to "use my image" They would have to contact my agent and pay the agreed rates.......they haven't called back.

I recieved a phone call from this company asking for me and it was quite scary as it was a bloke who said my first and surname and then hung up. I called the number back but it was engaged for 2 weeks! I called the number again today and its not recognised! So i thought i'd go online as i might get some info about this call.

I recently went to this paparazzi studio with a friend, and they get you completely drunk and try and sell the photos to you for a ridiculous price of £1200 with a deposit!

Me and my friend were drunk and stupidly signed the contract to buy the photos without thinking of the whole amount.

Is there anyone out there in the same situation as us? We don't want to pay that full amount as it is a RIP OFF

Hi I had phone call from this number.. ...... 08009886223........on 12.Nov.2010 from  the same Paparazzi Bookings Team as they said ..That was the same story as above, just finally she ask me for card detail ????...and she had all ready  my phone number, home address and e-mail, but I didn't give her my card detail but often what she said has: promise, promise, promise and I had enough...She try to call me again on the same day just few hour late.Gest why what she need only was my card number. Pls avoid this agency and this number and never give card detail !!!

Just had my call from this plum. Some woman telling me I'd been exclusively selected for a days pampering with a partner coz I'd completed some offer???. No I hadnt. My first reaction was laughter out loud (this did not amuse her), nor did me following it up with "For me? You are joking I am a 6'3" hairy [***] overweight geezer, are you insane?" (this too was met with disdain). She then began her pitch, after a minute I cut her short asking "How much then?" "Oh it's free with a £50 deposit each". I then asked for hand written confirmation of the offer to be posted to me, to which she asked for my email address. Nope again sweetheart. I reiterated hand written meant with a pen on paper and put in an envelope (again she was not amused). "No we only give you written confirmation once you have paid the deposit". Then I thought of an old favourite trick. I asked her to go through all the details again and questioned every point at least three times. This took up a minimum of 10 minutes of her valuable scamming time. She then gave me 2 website addresses "ilovepaparazzi,com and paparazzi.co.uk" (both of which she had trouble logging into apparently). I asked her to spell these using the phonetic alphabet, letter by letter three times "papa, alpha, papa, alpha, romeo" you get the idea (she loved that). Another 5 minutes taken. She was getting the hump and bid me farewell without even asking me to call her back. Shame I was just starting to enjoy myself. 02075801023 by the way.

I got a call a few months ago and went today. it was a good day and the studio was professional and it was well organised. yes you pay for the roof for the photos but my friend and I managed to haggle it down to a reasonable price for the two of us. It was a fun girly day out and I think people are too quick to judge it as a scam. Just be sensible and don't sign your life away. but it was a good day out.

I had a call from 020 7580 1023 telling me I had won a free makeover from paparazzi. They new my name but I'm a 62 year old male. What good is a makeover to me?

i just got called from a number 02075801023 looks like they may have changed there number.i have been getting phone calls for weeks and when i pick it up no one speaks its normally a withheld number but today there was a number and i called it back. the guy on the phone said his name was chico and he had been trying to call me for weeks. he told me they was the biggest photo studio company in the uk paparizzi. i have never heard of these, but apparently lady gaga, michael jackson, jls,sugar babes have all been there well so chico said. he told me i had won £250 make up and champagne, photo shoot for me and a friend. he sounded shock when i said i have never heard of them and said why aint i shocked or surprised that i had won. he wanted me to pay £100 pounds to book a slot for the photo shoot, i said if i had won a free photo shoot why would i be paying money to book a slot surely that would be in with the prize. he said you get it back but only if you turn up and do the shoot.i asked can i call he back because i was thinking i need to check it out online first to make sure i aint getting in to something thats just a scam and he told me this was a once in a life time offer and there is 40 people in the office with him calling other prize winner all the time and he could only offer this to me this one time only so that rang alarm bells ringing, if i won a price surely its mine anytime i want it and why is there 40 other people ringing other people constantly telling then they have won a prize??? how many prizes do they have??? i thought i was the lucky winner???  he said they are across the road from bbc and i would see lots of celebritys. i was going to get my make up done, champagne lounge, get a sneeky peek if any celebritys are there at there shoot, 100 pics taken, i can see why people fall for these scams because they paint such a lovely picture. bloody cheeky aint they

My daughter went to Paparazzi Studios with a friend who was cold called by Paparazzi.  The funny thing is that we have had about four or five calls from them in the past and said we were't interested and put the phone down.  They get you in the end!  

My daughter was invited at the last minute as his friend dropped out.  I only let her go because he said it was paid for - I thought it was a gift, didn't realise it was just a deposit paid.  Anyhow, she was  offered bucks fizz before they asked if she was old enough to drink  - if this has happened  to anyone reading this Westminster Licencing Officers would like to hear about it

Although they enjoyed the photoshoot, although nowhere near as professional as it was made out to be, the smell was distracting.  The staff apologised about this and said it was a broken sewer in the corner or the room.  Again, if you have this experience Westminster Health and Safety would like to hear from you - 0207 641 1063.  They can put you through to the Licensing Officers as well probably.    I think it must be an offence to subject customers to a health risk.  

The worst part of the day was the hard sell at the end of the day which distressed by daughter so she signed just to get away.  So did her friend.  This was 6 February 2011.  I wrote to Paparazzi and Paladin the next day so say I considered the contracts void. Funnily enough, I have discovered that the cctv camera they say is well advertised, not, doesn't currently have a licence and so the letter we have received threatening to use cctv to enforce their case doesn't have a leg to stand on.  Am taking legal advice over this one, suggest anyone else in this position does the same, as its against the law to be filmed without your knowledge by an unauthorised camera.  Gross infringement of privacy.  Or if anyone wants to join forces for support and share legal expenses..... 07796948550. contact Information Commissioners re cctv to complain - 0303 1231113

i've seen a lot of stuff about Papprazi photography here using another number.
they now have a new number 02085801023 which they've just called me on, yes i've taken the offer up, but the reason is i've wanted to treat the Wife to a day where we could relax and get our hair done and her make-up etc etc and it was all looking like costing fotunes, funny thing is, this place take a £40 deposit for the day, then spend up to 6 hours making you over, doing your hair and then taking pictures (they even ply you with booze to get you drunk enough to spend thousands on the resulting pictures) thing is... i have an amazing tolerance to booze and no interest in the pictures, and no matter what happens, i've just got us a full blown pamper day for £20 each when everywhere else wanted hundreds of pounds...
its ironic but i almost feel like i've scammed them :op
