Got call from 0208 with offer . Checked with virgin who said it was a scam

I was just googling 0208 and found your site, so am reporting a call I got from 0208446090. When I answered the call, no-one spoke to me; it was just silent. So I am reporting this number, as well as blocking it on my phone.

Missed call on my mobile from 0208  084 1154. Any idea whi it was?

Call from 0208054778. They rang I answered they hung up.I've just been reading what other people have wrote about these calls beginning with 0208.

Had a call from 02080820435. Automated voice said there was a serious legal case against me by the HMRC but didn't specify a name (I live with my partner) and said that if no response, then I would face hefty legal costs. I have tried calling number back  however 'there is a temporary fault on the line'.

These keep calling hadn't dare answer cause of the code

We had the same thing . A very threatening call left on our answer phone . Ignored it and you should too.

Got Pre-Recorded Message from Person impersonating Police. Said I should call them back to speak to Case Worker. Now Getting Two calls a day from these Scammers. BT please Block them if you can ?

02080908032. keeps calling my mobile.    Number unknown to me.

Had this number call me today it was a automated number claiming the police were looking for me regarding a matter and to speak to my case worker press 1 i hung up

Received call claiming my computer was infected and could be rectified for £399
