I wonder if the action group have seen the programme on sky Atlantic. At least they will know the money has been spent to good use on betting, champagnes (not sure if that is even a word) and cheap thrills being touched by girls. At least they both look happy!!

These land banking scams are still going on? People still fall for them?

You'll be investing in wine, carbon credits and rare earth metals next.

You will lose all your money on any of these investments but you will make high pressure salesmen very rich.

Wow that is slightly creepy, but surely you must have seen the development area, not just taken the word of the guys in charge it was worth investing in?

Also I think some people may have invested many tens if not hundreds of thousands into the project, surely again they didn't do that without checking it all out on the Island.

I just hope if they have they can afford to lose the cash, in fact if you worked there you must know quite a lot of inside info, and action group should be very interested in making contact with those who stood to lose the most as they are the ones who may have the cash to put up a real fight for justice.

    Confused by this
I have so many questions here it all sounds like a bad joke, I've invested in pearl island and im so regretful I'd like to know what's the action group how to get involved.i reported to fsa , fraud alert and met police told me it was a civil matter and my info was weak, none said they had previous complaints or reports! please a question for anon, I wonder what investment you have been involved in since you don't know who Craig and Hugh are but know a lot to write on this forum.

Yes seen the so called development area, was flown out to Maderia to even have a look, we fell for it because we was friends of michael's that's why most of us invested, and that is also why we sold it because we believed in it too, once we started to see the flaws we starred to ask questions and we was either fired or left on our own accord!

Also half the brokers at Morgan Forbes were not real brokers, just friends called in to help out, they believed it so they sold it.

Oh dear, do you know how much the big investers decided to invest, cos these are the guys who stand to lose the most but I also suspect the ones with the right sort of connections to get this lot to face what is certainly due.

Probably should have looked a lot more closely at the development area by the sound of it, obviously what hope did punters in the street stand who had no way of getting a look at the plot etc, cos if employees were taken in normal people would have been also.

There is no doubt these are professional crooks who have been doing this for sometime and eventually their luck must run out one way or another.

Well this is interesting. It's been put in writing on their website that Morgan Forbes have been given planning permission for the PDP project.

    BUT

There is still a strike off proposal against Morgan Forbes due to the FSA's interference.

    http://companycheck.co.uk/company/06785644

If the company is struck off and dissolved by the FSA, then Michael Nascimento will no longer have a contractual obligation to pay returns to investors but will still be able to build the hotel.

How ironic would it be if the FSA are the one's who throw the investors' money in the bin....

I would strongly recommend investors write to the FSA and/or companies house and find out what the strike off proposal is about. Otherwise the FSA will get it's own way again and punish innocent people for investing outside the big banks....

Just be aware of what is going on here, the MF site specifically states planning has been provided for the PDP project also stating in big letters that they have no further investments to sell, all looks and sounds good.

However as I understand it the PDP contracts investors had contained a schedule of stage payments that had been suspended, but since things are now going ok the company intend to resume collection of these stage payment, so although they are not trying to get new money from investotrs they are trying to get more money from those who have already invested.

Now  if you are an exisiting investor faced with the good news that things are now on track, their thinking is that investors will be happy to help complete the project by complying with the stage payments schedule.

This is a rock andf hard place position because if you invest more you stand to lose more if thngs don't work out and if you chose not to invest you are in breach of contract as per the post dated 31/10/12, meaning legitimately MF can invalidate your contract and keep your cash, so you wont ned to worry about what the FSA will or wont do as the current investsors will have made their own decisions.

Well to be honest and having seen the comments from 'ME' I wouldn't hold your breath. I just hope you haven't invested more money than you can afford to lose, cos I think that's the probable outcome.
