RE:hotel build in madeira does anyone know if this project ever got started it was by morgan forbes of canary wharf,the offer document stated no planning consent had yet been granted that was of march 2011,i was informed that the offer price had just increased$1,400us$.It was stated that funds would be held in a safe secure client account, should the build not take place investments would be refunded at ten per cent per annum,anyone know what went on.

Nascimento,murrell,a mr.aston or ashton,chantell,sound connected.

It would appear that they are at it again with this acropolis outfit,there is no possible way to build in the west of madeira,all the locals are kicking off.Lots of locals own plots of land nearby and are offered lower value for the land that they own.

Ihave sent for the on line brochure of acropolis,the former morgan forbes cannot make head nor tail or should it be tale of it What they are selling shares in is anyones guess.SCAMS,SUCKERS ANDRUNNERS.

Just found something interesting. DMD media, which was another sales arm of Morgan Forbes (hence why they have the same address), has changed directors from Michael Nascimento to Kelly Ryan. Albeit it states Michael Nascimento is the only shareholder....

Rumour has it, that the strike off action against Morgan Forbes is because the FSA visited the Canary Wharf offices and caught them in the act of cold calling from the UK, despite being told not to. Apparently the fact they were doing it under the name of DMD media didn't wash with the FSA, and were promptly closed down...

Also all the main brokers at Acropolis SGPS in Madeira have either been sacked or quit. This includes Aston Craig and Alpesh Khatri.

Nothing surprises me with this lot,it appears morgan forbes cleared off out the uk,but what was the out come for those who invested in the pearl island project.When aston craig spoke with me eighteen months ago,trying to con me into investing,i read the offer document i knew then it was a scam.Thanks for the info.

Will be interesting to see if Aston Craig is working for the same firm as Chantel. She got a recent mention in the Tony Hetherington column and Redd Monitor. Apparently she is working for Carvier which is a sister company of Tullett Brown, which was shut down recently.

acropolis are based in madeira,selling shares in pearl island the same project as morgan forbes who have been shut down by the fsa.

If you try to call Acropolis SGPS, it goes through to a virtual office, implying they may not be operational.

They recently tried to operate in the old Canary Wharf office as DMD Media with Kelly Ryan as director. Michael Nascimento and Glenn King ( of Oakmount and Partners ) were the previous directors. This was quickly halted by the FSA.

According to company check there is now a strike off proposal against Morgan Forbes. Meaning anyone who invested in their hotel project will potentially lose all the money they invested. Despite the fact that MF were contractually obliged to give a full refund +10% if construction of the hotel didn't commence by March 2012.

A 192. com search gives Michael Nascimento's address as 527 Hurst Road, Bexley

The house is up for sale, and apparently has been for some time implying that Mr Nascimento knows that investors will try and make him meet his contractual obligations via his UK assets.

I would suggest MF investors apply for a county court hearing before Mr Nascimento sells his house.

It would also be interesting to see if the bailiffs find a certain Mr Herschell at that address as well.....

having tried to trace mf and acropolis,they have stated to a third party,motleys that the company in madeira is run by a complete set of new directors,just as if you can fool all the people some of the time and,some of the people all thetime but you cannot fool all the people all the time,thanks for the info.
