My elderly parents were phoned by this company and persuaded that, as they were elderly and have aches and pains, they should buy some Rose Hip tablets at £14.95 per month for four months - although they would receive two mnths free.
I am concerned as they gae their card details over the phone and my mother is now having sleepless nights worrying about what they've done.
They addressed my mother by her name and seemed to know her age etc.

    Dear Kathy,

Firstly I must apologise for the problems you have experienced with Sanda Wellness and I hope that we can work towards a successful resolution of your current situation.

Due to the issues being raised by our valuable customers on websites such as these we have taken a series of steps to ensure that we operate in a professional manner.

    1.    We no longer allow our sales staff to handle the customer service.
    2.    We have implemented a UK based team to aid any customers who experience anything but the highest levels of service from us.

Our Chairman is insistent that our brand is managed and represented correctly and to that end has instructed his immediate PA to manage all complaints directly. In effect this means that unhappy customers like you now have a direct route to the top of our company and any problems can be rectified with the minimum of fuss.

To proceed, I invite you to contact Bali Bailey on complaints@sandawellbeing.com (Direct, UK managed, email address) with details of your problem and she will rectify it for you as a matter of urgency.

I would also like to welcome the circulation of this email address to anyone who needs it, as Sanda is far from a ‘Scam’ company but is a dynamic, forward thinking outfit.

I appreciate that this approach is unorthodox and may receive some sceptical comments but I hope that, in time, our actions will prove the doubters wrong.

    Yours Sincerely

If your company wishes to operate in a professional manner, the first thing you should do is repect the privacy of individuals who have no interest in your products and resent being cold called. I have requested - and was assured - my contact details would be removed fom your lists yet still the unwanted calls continue. If people want to believe something about their health that they are told about by an unknown (and presumably medically unqualified) person over the phone as opposed to their GP, that is down to them; but I know who I would choose discuss such medical issues with should they arise.

My mother recieved one of these scam calls after Christmas from an Indian caller and gave her card details for 250 pounds "worth" of GOPO rosehip tablets (six months supply, that would cost at most 60 pounds anywhere else), before telling me that she felt she may have been conned. The con artist on the phone seemed to have a lot of information about her. We called back and cancelled the order (inspite of the scam callers insistance that without these tablets, she would soon be hooked on paracetamol, have stomach ulcers as a result and that I would doubtless soon be sending him a box of chocolates as thanks when we found out that the GOPO tablets worked so well! Yeah. Right). The tablets were returned when they arrived and the transaction cancelled.

I´m not sure if these tablets even have any proven benefit, but selling them to vulnerable elderly people at grossly inflated prices should not be tolerated. How do these scammers sleep at night?

Does anyone know where they are based?

I received a cold call from Sanda Wellbeing this a.m. from an address in Buckingham, selling me "POMY" which is their pomegranate tabs solution for various ailments, trial offer one month's supply at £33.40 inc.P&P. They claim to obtain names and numbers from databases which they can purchase e.g from Pharmacy  organisations. Having researched them on this website, I cancelled the order pending further investigation. No problem in reaching them to cancel. ADVISE EXTREME CAUTION ON THESE PRODUCTS WHICH MAY BE MADE ABROAD AND MAY NOT HAVE UNDERGONE ANY RIGOROUS VETTING TO UK  HEALTH STANDARDS OF THE INGREDIENTS AND EFFECTS. Prices appear to be somewhat higher than say Holland & Barrett or Nature's Best which are reliable suppliers of natural health care products.

I find your reponse quite staggering. You're so called company (which is totally misleading) is nothing but a total sham run by conmen who operate outside of the jurisdiction of the UK by the names of Kirti Patel, Ajit Patel and Pakesh Patel all of whom are nothing but total and utter fraudent people.

I assure you I will do my utmost to bring your scam to justice and make sure your you pay for all the fraudulent incidents you've been responsible for nothing but a bunch of crooks.

Well said Dave! My dad was conned for £150. Took the tablets to the doctors this morning and she told us to destroy them, as we can't be sure what's in them or whether they interfere with dad's existing medication. They've called back 3 times since, have changed his bank card so they can't get any more money. I called and they promised to remove dads name from their database. Have spoken to phone company's nuisance caller sept but they can't block the calls, TPS can't block them as they operate outside of uk jurisdiction, and OFCOM won't investigate because not enough people have complained. Have also reported to trading standards who were going to raise a report. How the he'll are we supposed to protect our loved ones from these scum? If they bother him again I'll call the police, see if they can do anything. K

My mother received 2 phone calls today trying to sell her suppliments and asking for her payment card details, as she had a stroke 20 months ago her capability to distinguish nusense callers has deminished somewhat. I did 1471 and the following number came up 0208 619 0746 - I telephoned them she gave her company name as Sanda Wellness, I spoke to an Indian lady and told her to remove my mothers telephone number off her mailing list, I also asked how she got the number but would not answer me.
Stay wellclear of this Company you have no idea what is in the tablets or potions they are offering. Not just that they could possibly use your card details to use them fraudulently.

They spent half an hour on the phone talking up the benefits of pomegranates and managed to persuade me to give them a credit card no. which I immediately cancelled after putting the phone down. ~Too late and they conned me out of £125. Needless to say no pills have arrived.

I recieved a call fron Sanda well being  to day trying to sell me Rosex  for my health and joints. 1 months supply would be 16.95 and after I would get special discounted supplies at reduced price, but would not commit herself to giving me a price.  I could hardly understand her being a foreigner and she also chatted on about me sounding very young for my age and send her a box of chocolates when I reach 99yrs old.  After jabbering on for 1/4hr she then came to the crunch part wanting my card details, which I refused to give her, so she started again saying they are a well established firm and would not cheat me, giving me all telephone numbers an address to confirm who they are, the talk was none stop and I could hardly get a word in.  It was only when I said sorry, you phoned me I did not phone you so I am not giving you my card details.  She was not pleased.  I said I would look it up on the website first to which she replied I will call back in an hour then.  I told her I was going out thank you and by.  After reading the message from loobylou 2010 Iknew I had done the right thing. They sound as though they came out with all the same rubbish to them as they did to me. People please be aware.
