Had a call today from a William Henshaw of the Parliamentary Info Office . The call was taken by my wife who said he was very well spoken and said he was contacting me because of my outstanding contribution to agriculture. He left his number 02089564110 . Beware it appears a scam caller.

Just had a call from a well spoken Peter Wood. I humoured him he had a smooth flow to his approach, though it sounded too good to be true. Something along the lines of "Excellence in recruitment..." Blah Blah. £2,750 for an article in a yearbook with a dubious circulation, that nobody has ever heard of? No thanks mate.

Grace Brooks was the person who called us. We are a sixth form college and they definitely got our attention when they said 'an initiative for organisations with excellence in education'. Fortunately I looked on here before  telling our principal!

Awful place, high turnover, the staff are frowned upon when they talk to each other or go to use the facilities. Idiotic place full of people who believe their fake personas are important. Full of lies and a terrible looking publication that isn't circulated to any clients at all! Although there is a rather handsome Mr.Taylor. My God!

Grace brooks called afew days go, full of promises and chats a lot of rubbish. Thank god I saw this website she gave me a headache!

Took a call from Catherine Renwick from the "Parliamentary Information Office" on 0208 956 4110 claiming she wanted to talk to the MD about excellence in the cosmetics industry.

There is no such organisation and she's a scam artist fishing for money to advertise in a non existant directory.

Beware!!

Excellent site. Had the call too, from Mr.Taylor, leaving a voicemail on my phone. As a barrister, also flattered and took the step of checking out who this organisation was. Thanks for the warning.....

Have had at least three answer phone messages both on land lines and mobiles from a William Henshaw and today he actually spoke to us on the house phone, claiming to be member of parliment interested in our outstanding contribution to british agriculture and telling us we come very highly recommended, leaving the same number as a contact as the other people have said and did come across as very convincing but not enough to not be suspicious and google him or pay him the 2750.00!!! Did give us a list of supposedly other people who have paid him?? Hope not!

Phone call yesterday from Matthew Forrest from the Parliament/Parliamentary Information Office (0208 956 4110). Giving CEO opportunity to write article for publication, originaly priced at c. £4k, then down to £1k. Scam.

Charles Hudson called me - the 2013 Parliamentary Yearbook will be heavily skewed towards the oil and gas sector and they have selected six companies to deliver their message to the 10,000 copies that will be distributed ......... blah, blah, blah, bs
I asked who were the other 5 - apparently they have only signed up 4 so far - Core Oil & Gas, Parkmead Group, Oldham Engineering, Premier Oil.
I questioned their authenticity - they work on behalf of the UK government

Just received a voicemail from a withheld number, caller very well spoken, asked for me by name and identified himself as Charles Hudson.  Said he was calling from the Parliamentary Information Office in London and gave his direct dial number as 0208 956 4110.  Said he wanted to talk to me in relation to a Government initiative focussing on Excellence in the Energy Sector, particularly the nuclear industry.  Googled him and got this page.  Either the Parliamentary Information Office must be a really busy and important place to be involved in so many high profile projects, or it's a scam.  Hmm, what to do .....

Calls from a Charles Hudson on this number asking to speak to our new CEO about a Government Initiative, they are very persuasive, claimed he was calling from the Parliamentary Information Office in London.  Next time he calls back i'll have a few words for him

we have had the said call from elizabeth rose  trying to sell us space in the parliamentary year book at over £4000
we told her we could be interested but she needs to get the final ok from our finance director and she would need to explain to him fully what the amazing offer for £4000 was. we then gave her as our director of finance the direct dial number for the head of the local trading standards department! i have spoken to her and asked her how does she sleep at night knowing she is frauding small businesses and she is a very sick bunny!

Just had a call from with held number saying it was Max Balder wanting to speak to the head of my charity.  I passed the info on to HQ after asking for the number callers contact details-- 0208 956 4110. This is from  Linkedin. They send out details of peoples CV.  I will now call HQ and advise not to follow up.

Linkedin are a internet company who claim to get your name known. It links into your information & the companies you have worked for.  Then names from people you know from the past colleagues,u then can get in contact but have to pay to advance.  What makes me very angry in we are a very small charity who are striving to raise funds for seriously ill children.  They make me sick! Lowest of the low!  I am reporting them also to TRADING STANDARDS MP's & MSPs  Good luck!

Guy calling himself Francis Knight - very insistent that he speak to the CEO - wouldn't tell me what is what about in any great detail so I said I wouldn't put him through.  He told me I would regret it!!
Very well educated sounding guy - but didn't get passed the gatekeeper!!
