Recieved this call today.  The number is a Sydney number but the call centre is in the pacific Islands.  The consultant was calling on behalf of Optus.  Trying to give me a better deal as i have a pre paid service.  Told them not interested and have a nice day.

I just got a call from this number, luckily I googled before calling back. I too am an optus prepaid customer, I wouldn't have checked if it wasn't for the 02 area code.

I'm an Optus pre-paid customer as well.  Googled the number of got this site, I won't call back.  Funny thing is I put my name on the 'do not call' register yesterday.

also got this call a couple of times, a curry muncher who i couldnt understand, asked what plan i am currently on and he hanged up....

I have revieved about 5 missed calls from this number in the past two weeks. i also answered one, and all i could hear was a man talking in what i think was an asian language. i just assumed that it was a wrong number.

i am also on optus pre-paid......?

I recieved a missed call from this number today whilst at work. When i tried to call back the number said it was disconnected. Im also with Optus BUT im on a contract.

This number has called me twice this week and when I answer they hang up or don't say anything.  I am with Optus on a plan, seems to be a pattern I might contact Optus.

Yup, same sort of story as what I've read-and am pre-paid. If it continues for too long I'm going to just hang up on them first and then next time tell them where to go if they try again. I'm over this!! I've got more important things and very busy during the day - I don't need nuisance calls like these.

I've recevied quite a few calls from this number over the past year or so. I'm an Optus pre-paid customer as well. Googled the number and got this site. I  called back and got an answering maching message that said the call had been made by Oceania Customer Interaction Services Autralia who do sales work on behalf of Optus (& other market research), and they would call back in the future. There was an option to leave my name and number to be removed from their marketing list - takes 48 hours. Alternative number given was 1300 763 765, also an email address but I didn't catch it.

02-81143800 called, when I answer it i got the busy tone, like they had just hung up?? I am on Optus Pre-paid.

I also received 4 messages in a couple of hours last week from number 99 - my phone can't display the messages. I assume that it is another Optus promotion.

I got a call from this number this afternoon.  I didn't answer and they did not leave a message. I have an Optus contract plan.

I received this call twice and missed the first one. i answered the second few mins ago, it was quite nosiy and sounded like many people were talking around, the girl who called me i guess is from india,she is soo rude.Never gonna answer call from this number again!!! also i am optus prepaid, and thinking to change into 3G.

i'm on the do not call list and they call me constantly. i've asked several times to be removed from their call list and they say "ok" but then the next day I get called again from the same number!

I was just called a few minutes ago and got a hang up. I'm with Optus but not Pre-paid - I have a monthly plan with them. Althrough the contract has just ran out.

An even better reason to leave. Stupid Optus, first the $2.40 surcharge on paper bills and now this.

i just got a call from this number after getting calls from strange numbers like 02 82094700 and 02 49087100 the past few days, so i let it ring out. i'm with optus prepaid.

I just got one too.. im optus post paid though.... they say i cna upgrade and then they have to call me back to look up my details... dodgy

Been getting called on this number frequently and its getting annoying.

I have received calls from this number over the last few days and twice today.
I am with Optus prepaid but don't answer any calls from area code 02

This number has attempted calling me about 6 times in the last two weeks. I have never answered it and they have never left a message! annoying much!
