i just got miss call. tried to call back no one answring

Maybe it's some gateway?  My sister from US sometimes call me and this number shows, she was using a phone card.  Today I missed a call, and I tried calling back thinking it's from Sydney, reply said "line is busy" in american accent.

same story here in May 8 friday morning i received 3 miss call i was in my office and i set my mobile phone in silent mode thats why i didnt know. Then at saturday night 10pm i have miss call i was tired and sleep that time i forgot to set the ring tone.

Maybe he or she like to have phonepal, textmate or phonemate. hehe.....

My dad got a phone call from this number, saying that his car will be fire bombed, the strange thing is, they knew what happened about my brother.

It's just a connection number.  We just received 2 calls from this number and 2 calls from 0442031592523 which is a UK number.  Turned out, a friend in Holland had been trying to call us and this was just the number that was showing up.  He was using his land line too, not a calling card.

got this call as well today at 2.45pm
answered it and heard nothing on the end, but you could tell someone hung up.
if its marketing like boo said, i'm gonna be well pissy.

The number is a calling card number I.e someone in England who knows your number (hopefully a friend) dials up using a calling card to ring you and this is the number that shows up. It's not some sick [***] but perhaps your overseas wife, child, aunt, or friend!!

I have been getting these calls too, at all hours, really doing my head in. also had calls from 971509226709. what can i do?

ive been getting a call from this number as well.. but since my friend from canada has been trying to call me.. ive a feeling that this is just the numer that shows from the phone card that she's using...

they are a USA company saying they are a trading company wanting to sell shares and other products. I just put them on speaker and let the guy talk for around 20mins while i made myself a coffee and had a sandwich. once he finished I told him can he repeat it i wasn't listing.

got it just now, picked up, no one spoke.

received a call from 8209-4700, telling won a price, asking for a 1.5% deposit to get the price.

i am getting a call from this number today. And it should be the first time i am having this.

I had a missed call from this number on Friday, but didn't return it. The number called me again at 5pm today and it was a female was speaking Mandarin very quickly. I said wrong number repeatedly, and she said wrong number? and I hung up. Then, my boyfriend came over and told me he had a phone call from this number too and it was also a woman speaking Mandarin. Convinced it was a scam, I googled it and found this page. What are the chances though, that my boyfriend and I would both get a call from this number around 5 pm today from presumably the same person if it was just a gateway number?

Same deal as everyone else who didn't pick up.

Just got a call from them (in Australia) and all I heard was an Asian woman speaking...saying "adsfhasfasdfdasjh....eh eh"

My boss is OS on his honeymoon in Thailand and he just called off this number... I thought it was a NSW number as it was (02)... It must be phone server's number.?

This number came up when a colleague phoned me from overseas using a calling card.

Received call from Chinese woman asking if I speak Chinese (took a while to establish this). Told her I didn't, she said thanks and hung-up. Sounded long distance.
