I just had a missed call from this number too .. after reading this I wont ring back.   it must be some type of call centre or

it is a phone scam. but you are lucky, because those people only speak to Chinese guys. HOHO~~~

i have recieved a call from this number as well.i have been advised not to have anything to do with them .
they sent me an email saying i had won 418,000 euro
and needed me to fill in forms including bank acc and they would give me money,
so i made the bad mistake of asking them to call my number.
after i mentioned police and feds they stopped calling.
they claim to be a Spanish company(for the lotteriries there)
If you are not living in Spain or not a Spanish citizen you wont be winning any money.
be careful.

I keep getting calls from this number every day and when i try to call back it is engaged.

I have a missed call from them today at 2.35pm. Tried to ring back from a different phone and get engaged signal.  Hope I don't receive more calls like some other people here have experienced...

I had another call which came up as this number again two nights ago and actually managed to answer it before they hung up this time. They kept saying hello in that thick Indian accent so I just snapped and told them to stop f'n calling me until they can either speak clearly themselves or get someone on the line who CAN speak clearly...haven't had another call from them since then

This morning, 4 times so far - and no response (no ring) when I call back.

I just got a call from this number at 8:20 am (Perth time) on a Saturday. I didn't recognise the number, so I didn't answer it.

My wife and I were awoken early this morning, about 3 hours before we normally get up, by a call from this 02 8209 4700 number. I pressed the busy button and did not answer. A message was then left by someone calling himself Steven Nader from Nitro Marketing, giving a number: 001 512 225 8956

So far I have been unable to contact this Mr Nader as I get a voicemail with his name on it. Presumably he had left the office for the day.

Had I been able to get through to him then I could have given some feedback about how not to alienate people.

Perhaps he can help you all out with information on how to contact the company behind this Australian landline number, or with some of your other inquiries perhaps.

Personally, I found the call to be a nuisance and if I get another one early in the morning will make an official nuisance call complaint to Telstra.

Got 3 calls this morning which woke me up. Haven't answered and thought I gonna google the number first to find out the company daring to wake me up on a Sat morning. Wish now I had answered to at least had the chance to yell at someone 8-)

I got a call too yesterday May 22, 2008, at 1.37pm (AEST)
I thought it was a call back for a job interview, but I tried calling back several times and the auto-answer said: "All lines to the line you are calling are busy, please try again later"
I tried calling back several times, and the same answer.
I assumed this number was from SYDNEY because of the area code: (02)
I found it unusual that It would always have that message everytime I would call. So i decided to google this number, and to my surprise everyone else has had problems with this number.
Thank Goodness I havnt had anymore calls ... yet

Got a call from this number at work, answered and was some Asian or Indian talking, i asked again who it was and they hung up.

yeh i've been called twice by the number...
when i call it back i get 'sorry all the lines to this area are busy. please call back later'
some kind of marketing scheme probably. i wouldn't bother calling back

Got a call from this number today and it turned out to be my boyfriend ringing from the US on his mobile. Very strange cos he usually cant ring my mobile, just send me sms's. It was lucky i answered because im in Adelaide and usually ignore O2 numbers. Seems to me some sort of open exchange.
BTW hes with OneTel and im with Vodaphone if that helps.

keep getin harassed by this [***] that got my number of a friend computer somehow?? anyway keeps callin on the 0282094700 would like to know how to stop the [***] from callin full stop on either his phone number which is+923339848996 i dont even know this dude buttt he has no life else why would he randomly pik me to harass... can someone tell me is there away to stop it and how without changing my phone number

Got a call from this number this morning, was my boyfriend calling from Iraq -- he uses American phone cards over there though. Weird though because he's called using that card before (it ran out this morning) and it's always come up as "Withheld number" before.

Got the same call from that number 02 8209 4700 4:24am today... i believe it may have something to do with calling cards or skype. i even got other numbers showing up 02 9037 0000 which took place at 3:54am this morning as well.

i can see now what has happened when some ones calls you from a calling card or internet telephone such as skype it makes its own random number to suit the country you are calling my dad calls me on skype all the time he works overseas and calls my mobile and i get similar numbers to these and call it back it is a data/fax line.

nothing to worry about guys / Who do you Know overseas that is trying to call you ?

Get this call yesterday. It looks from India. I can't understand why he is calling again and again and annoying the people.

I got a call from this number about 4 minutes ago (3:55pm) and I live in Wollongong, Australia. The lady spoke Chinese and when I didn't respond she hung up. Really odd.

I just (5:04 AEST) got a call on my mobile from this number.
I thought it might have been my brother, just thought I'd google it (my mail first) though never really expected to find a site like this :)

I don't return unexpected calls, so no idea who it was.
