hmmm... just got a call from a Chinese woman from this number.  Sounded like she was trying to sell me something... she hung up after I annoyed her by asking her to identify herself (in English, while she droned on in Chinese):)

I missed a call from this number at 1.07pm today - guessed it must of been spam as I didn't recognise the number...

Got a call from this number to my mobile at around 3pm too. Thought it was from Sydney, but a female kept asking me if I spoke Mandarin, which I did. I talked to her (in mandarin), she said she's calling from a Travel company from Shanghai doing a survey about overseas traveler, asked few questions about it, she was trying to get my name, age and where I came from, which I did gave her some fake info. Ended the call with suspect. Came on google...and find this...Not sure what the call/survery was try to achieve, anyway, if you get a call from this, just ignore it, definitely a waste of time.

I have been getting calls from this number for the last few weeks...and I also have some Chinese lady prattling on to me and then hanging up! What is going on!?

have had this number call a lot and have a suspicion it could be debt collector trying to register a number of calls to your number to justify a bailiff action.  have just watched how people have lost their houses from call from numbers that people dont get to answer or can't return calls to.... be careful..  telesta should investigate and come up with the answer

I had a person I deal with in pakistan call me. I imagine its a phone card that uses a local number in the routing.

This is sooo weird. I got a call frm da same no. in the aftrnoon. tried to call back bt it sys all lines in the area u r calling r busy plzzz try again l8r. thr ws no fax tone. i typed the no. in google and this website came up. this is creepy!!!! m kinda scared.

i get a call from this number every day starting from about 5am i am in brisbane why cant someone do something about this what about telstra doing something

i got a call from this number at 3.30pm and it was a lady asking me if i spoke chinese. i asked her why and she said because she wanted to know. i didnt say yes or no so she said something in chinese to test me, then i hung up.

My husband got a call from this number 12:00am and then i got one at 3:30 am aest time on our mobiles from this number i am not happy as i am not a good sleeper who is this person? i want to throttle them!

I received a legitimate phone call from an overseas contact and it came through on this number - may be some sort of portal number for overseas calls?

I just received a call from this number, I was quick to answer but noone was there.  I am in Perth.  I guess common sense has to prevail, never give your personal details to anyone over the phone.  You would think that is obvious but there must be people out there who do hand out their details as these people keep on doing it..  I often spend time harassing people who call me (from India mostly), I love to ask them how their days are going, what the weather is like, are they married, how old are they etc..  They usually end up hanging up on me..

Solved! I initially thought it was a Sydney number but i found out today after i answered this number that my brother inlaw is in London at the moment and was callin from this number it must be a dialling centre from London so who ever is callin you could be someone from London or i have no idea?

i started gettunbg the calls bout a week ago im in melbourne australia on vodafone and have no relos or mates over seas so all ideas about beging from some be call switch board thing is weird and im freaking out that they are idetity theives they have called me sserveral times already today and it only 10.40 am they start at 7.45 and only ansas once so could hang up on them. was freazing was someone i owed money but doubting very highly with number of people coomplainging u thiink after over a year of  people posting  some one would have stoped this

Who the hell is this? like reading the above companies i have no idea why they'd call me =O And seriously they spoke in chinese mandarin to me! I didn't know what they were saying and said "I Don't Know" back in Chinese. Then she went on and on and I hung up

I'm also in Melbourne.  I had this number call me twice this morning while my phone was off, once at 10:27am then again at 11:01am.  No voicemail messages were left.
