Spoke to Julia who sold me magazine.  Took £1.00 then took further £65.00.  Raised dispute with my credit card company and also have cancelled my card just in case they decide to take anymore.  When you call the number same bloke answers and no matter who you ask for, manager etc, he seems to be it and he goes by the name of Chris.  Spoke to him today and he says will process a credit of £65 to my credit card but seems highly unlikely.  Will check on Wednesday and see if that has happened !! Not holding out much hope due to what other people have written.  Feel such a fool for being taken in.  These sort of people cause proper companies legitimately trying to make a living.  Just wish I had read this before I gave them my details.

I'm am so foolish had a phone call saying only £1.00 for a one off me magazine offered a spa treatment for a weekend and also said percentage goes to charity so gave over my bank details and one month later they took out £65. Don't  be fool tell them Not interested!!!!!!

I also have been conned by this number regarding the magazine. Again initial payment of £1 which i knew about and then 1 week later which was for £65 and a complete surprise. I spent many hours trying to contact them and finally was advised it would be rectified but a month on have still heard nothing. How should i proceed?

Hi I too foolishly agreed to the £1 charge today and did as you did when I got home. I have called my bank this evening to tell them not to allow the payment but they tell me they cannot do anything until Safe Services have taken the money and I can then apply to get the money back.How stupid is that? I hope as you that £65 or more is not taken from my account tomorrow. How did you get on?
I will never give my bank details over the phone again as I can't handle the worry that crooks have access. Glad to see I'm not the only gulible one!

These people rang me up amd asked for me by name. When I said it was me and asked for their name they put the phone down. Looking at other posts I think I was lucky!

I am having an ongoing battle with these people. It is all about a magazine as someone stated ealier. I didn't subscribe to this but they keep taking multiple payments out of my bank account on the same day. I have called  over twenty times and they have refunded the money but they are still doing it even though they say they've cancelled my details. they also use ME VIP  and safe services as well as safe choice, a very dodgy company in my opinion, there latest deduction from my account was two payments of £9.95 on the same day 22nd September 11. Now I can't get through on the phone.
If anyone knows anyway to contact them please let me know I'm at my wits end.

I too go a caller from Me magazine offering me a subscription with free gifts. I politely said 'NO!

They dont only do 9 to 5 just had a call from this number at 17:21. Who are they?

Ive just had 2 council my bank card as they tryed taking to lots of £8.95 from my account on monday! I called them an all they could say was we haven't got any of your bank details so dont no how that could have happened .i told them that i wanted all my details removed from there accounts .An that they are nothing but theives taking money from trusting people . Im 1 of the lucky ones .

I have had several calls from said number in the last week and twice today already. I called at 3pm and got ansa machine and have left a message quoting only my number and asking them to remove it from their listings immediately. I'll give them 24hrs to check their messages. I was happy to call as I can make ordinary landline numbers for free 24/7. Their message refers to Me magazine

i did that mag for £1, mag crap and voucher out of date.   rang and cancelled it(actually spoke to someone) asked for my £1 back said yeah not a problem will do it straight away. few days later someone else rang and asked why i cancelled said it was not worth it. asked where my money was as not been done  was told theyd ring me back by 6 that evening, no call, wk later they rang me again, still no sign of my £1 back but said they will ring me back that evening again, told them i didnt believe them, and he said if he said he will ring he means it. but of course he didnt. tried ringin them myself but constantly got message saying only open between 10 and 6 althought i clearly rung in those times, they obv dont wanna take any calls. gave up in end only for last week a girl called me to say as a past member i was gonna be sent some money off vouchers in the next few days, asked her about getting my money back from previous time, was told she had nothing to do with that, but said if i rang 1471 after ended call that was the number to get in touch with them, obv called it and had the automated message office open 10-6 but no one actually takes ur call,was able to leave message and asked someone to ring me back but they dont. and no vouchers come. only a call of my credit card compant asking if certain payments have been made, and 2 have gone out from ME mag £39 and £8.95.  ROBBING THEIVING SCUMBAGS do not agree to anything off them

I have just been scammed my Me Magazine, £65 pounds out of my account.The money comes out of your account as safe services, all owned by a Wayne Phillips who has six companies in cardiff registered at different addresses, so much for a magazine and spa vouchers for a pound. Reported him to watch dog and comsumer direct and the bank are currently investigating. This man must be stopped!!!

i too had a call the took £1 from my account the next day they took £65.00 i rang them they said they would credit my account that was last wednesday still nothing  what******

omg im calling i had the same thing but they took 8 95 twice im so angry , GET THE POLICE. or call your bank tell them to stop the service from taking money off your account. asap

I had this last night and the guy "Paul Brittain" was even talking to me about my newborn baby! SCUMBAG! I rang the bank after I had read this page and they said £1 has come out of my bank but not £65 so I have cancelled my card so they can't use it! I would advise everyone else to do the same as this companies phone is never answered and their website does not exist, they could have at least made a fake one!
