Hi, I too have fell victim to them and have become Miss Marple in doing all I can to find out about this company.  The first thing I have done is to contact the Velindre Cancer Centre. This is the charity they support and they say they are receiving donations from them. I have told them what the company has done and they were horrified. I have said that at this current time I don't know if they are genuine or not and that until I am certain their name is going to be dragged through the mud on twitter, facebook and any other forum. They are going to investigate.
I have found a bit out about the founder Noyan Nihat - he owns about 3 companies and loads of internet domains. He may well not be still associated with the company - I've emailed him to give him a chance to let him have his say and as of yet not heard anything. He owns Evolution marketing and Yucatan Holidays - I guess he's Mexican.
My bank are investigating them and I have also contacted Cardiff police to alert them. The other founder was Wayne Phillips and as of yet I haven't heard from him.
They passed my credit card details on to Let's Go Rewards and so I am grouping them in with all this as they can't be legitimate if they are willing to accept someone's card details.
On Monday I will contact trading standards.

I stupidly paid £1 over the phone with credit card. Received 1 copy, rang to cancel anything further, left 2 messages. Next card statement they'd taken £65 out of my account. I have not had anything back.

I went for an interview at me magazine. I found the ad on www.Gumtree.com/cardiff. They advertise every day..obviously desperate for staff as they can't seem to keep any. I went for an interview on the thursday evening..Friday morning i had a call to say i'd got the job. I found it quite strange as I hadn't had a proper interview..they'd asked for no references..and just laughed and joked the whole time. Still..it was a job and I was in need of the money.
Told on our first day..we had to work 2 weeks in advance..only just realising that is because no one stays there longer than two weeks..so theyre working people for free!
Worked for these people for 3 days..realised what was going on - and quit.
My team leader Tony was a right B*****d. If i wasn't getting shouted at for calling peoples houses - I was getting shouted at , as I was ringing people who had already been scammed.
Every call i made to people who had already subscribed and lost money/recieved nothing..i would then pass on to my team leader tony..who would automatically just hang up the call instead of dealing with the problems on the phone and obviously having to face the people they were making a fool out of.
Before leaving..i took down the number that we are told to give people over the phone. It is written on a big board at the front of the office. On my lunch..i decided to try give this number a call..not even a real number.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

had a call, like an idiot paid £1 on my card, promised a petrol voucher, told me it was for cancer, as my friend going through treatment caught of guard, but alarm bells rung so transfered all my money over to saving account, so there was no money in account for them to take. bank has since blocked the card and are aware of this scam. feel sorry for anyone who has lost money to these people, when you try phone them all you get is message saying voice mail full. i was told that you have to phone back within 7days to cancel yr year subscribtion of £65, i told them did'nt want to be signed up for that.

I haven't had any phone calls from these people, but have just noticed on my bank statement that they took £59 from me on the 28th of june.Around this time I was looking up information on a friend's relative from the late 1700s and entered one of those ancestor websites, which turned out to be American and unsuitable.Having entered my debit card details and been billed £1,it then seemed I was entering into some membership scheme costing £60 or so,and I backed out using their cooling off system within a few minutes.
Weeks later I found my card wouldn't work to purchase on the phone or www,and my bank told me it had been shut down because of fraudulent use.It turned out to be the £1 taken by the US site and not refunded, but it now appears they obviously passed my details to these Me Vip people to let them take the £59.I think I need to go to my bank again to ensure this isn't a standing order or something. What a pain in the [***] these things are to people who can ill afford it!

I have had an identical experience to that of Deb and Bookworm, and am now £65 worse off. I had a letter from them with a 'Welcome Pack' dated 20th August 2012; the letter said I could cancel my trial subscription if I rang the above number. I emailed them twice via their website and also rang the above number,in both cases asking them to send me a confirmation email. I spoke to a lady on 28th August and she said my subscription had been cancelled on 24th August. However she said they could not send confirmation emails! On 12th September I received a bank statement showing that £65 had been taken from my account on 7th September, 10 working days after my subscription was said to have been cancelled. I have tried to contact them several times since without success.
MeClub is part of an outfit called Me Finance, which is part of a multinational company called Me Group International.
I intend to report them to the BBC's 'Rip Off Britain' programme and possibly to the Office of Fair Trading. Has anyone else tried this?

I also worked for these people and it appears they have not submitted any records of m y employment, e.g. tax and NIC deductions to HMRC. Check this out by contacting HMRC - I only found out when I applied for a tax refund.

I had a call from them using the name NEW LIFE Magazine, but cancelled my card when i realised it was a scam. They offered me a 20 pound petrol voucher. I have had so many problems with things like this i will be changing my number now. They said they were at Pembroke house, spring meadow business park, rumney, CF3 2ES. The tel. no they gave me for the office did not exist. Spoke to a woman with a bristol/westcountry accent.

I had a call from this company and figured out they got my number from a survey I did.
I thought well only a pound and that would go to a charity but when the info arrived I decided that none of the offers would be worth the £79 subscription so I phoned immediately but kept getting the message that my call could not be taken at that time and to ring back later.
Fortunately when I went online to cancel I saw some of these posts and phoned my bank who cancelled my card.So fortunately I will not be scammed any further ammounts
