I got missed call from this number mystery 0378491000 several times. When i call back, seems like the number doesnt exist. It must be some kind of "mangkuk scammer"

I received the calls from 0378491300 & 0378491000 who claims he is HLB direct staff not an agent.
He was selling HLB insurance plan.. blah blah blah alots.
I was told if i wanna enroll the plan, i need to give my credit card info to him.
so guys, pls watch out fot the scammers!

i also got called from this number on behalf of Eonbank.Offer insurance with commitment rm62 permonth. But I refused to buy it because he want my credit card number.

I just received the number, it was during my busy working hour.  I thought of what kind of company from KL.  And yes, it could not be contacted back.  Thanks for the information that given above.  I shall inform my friends/people around me to be cautious with the number.

The person on the phone was a girl, and she's said she was from a website called www.fmalaysia.com...
She keep asking question bout payments and stuff, and then she asked me my i.c number which fake it..
After the she hangs up, i got to google and search the website nothing found...My God...Thank God i fake

I got a call from this number this morning! They exactly knew what card I was using and asked me whether I've sign the card and etc. Not only that they tell me not to reveal my mother's maiden name and my CVV number to avoid any mishap to my card. Alright, here comes the real thing.

They said this insurance is free for life that they will cover my lose that includes; lost of card, stolen of card, misplaced of card, lost wallet and a lots more. After I listen to all these I was quite convinced, thinking that woah.. Maybank has such benefits for card holders.

Then they proceed to ask my Address & ID in the purpose to send me the welcome pack for the credit card. I gave them. This is because Maybank has never gave me any welcome pack before when I get my credit card. This is what I think. As usual banks will give welcome pack to the credit card principal in order to know the terms and condition of the credit card. The welcome pack includes the privileges and etc infos. So I guess I was being abit dumb I gave them my IC No & Home Address.

To my horror, this is not the end. He then ask for my Card expiry number in order to verified its me. Being a bit suspicious I ask him to read me instead. He said he don't have the info because he's an outsourced and he can't keep private personal infos. Being the dumb me I read him!!

Next he is still not satisfied, he is being brave in asking my credit card number this time!! Fine. I gave him the 4 front numbers. Because in a credit card, there's only 4 numbers can be display. Its either the 4 first number or the last 4 numbers.

This time enough is enough. I said I can't give it to you as credit card number is not something we can exposed it out easily on the phone. My boyfriend then snatch the phone and talk to the dude. Asking him why he want so many private info and stuff. Bare in mind he's talking in Malay and my boyfriend was talking to him in English. The dude doesn't know how to talk english at all! My boyfriend then scolded him are you really calling from maybank? You should know her info by then if you are calling from maybank! The dude furiously said "Kalau u tak minat. Takpa lah! BYE" (If you are not interested, Then nevermind. BYE).

WOW! What is this? If maybank were to call their customer service won't be this bad! I reach my office. to quickly buzz maybank about this. They said this number doesn't associated with them and they didn't call up! I ask them to monitor my account and please contact me if there's suspicious transaction amount.

WHAT THE HELL is this? SCAM? GOSH! People please be caution. Don't be like me! I've given my address & IC and expiry date. They only need my cc number now to do illegal transactions!  They even know where I stay! This is so dangerous.

So, everyone please beware on these kinda scam calls. Do not expose ANY, ANY private personal details yo anyone online or on call. They cannot be trusted at ALL! ! Head to the bank or call them instead to verify! They will not call you to get any personal details including your ic and address. They should have the data itself.

Also got Seems that the caller from this number claims himself to be from various banks. HLB, Eon, Maybank, Citibank etc. This hints that they are not directly connected to the banks. I am guessing that they are outsourced companies who are paid by the bank to attract customers to the various financial products offered by the banks. They might be operating legally, but getting access to peoples private phone numbers is not, hence should be considered as scams... or scums. Someone is selling our personal details to these companies. I wonder who.

i just answered the call.. its from WWF.. she asked me 3 questions for survey.. then she asked me my full name.. then my address.. im so fool as im giving her my full home address.. then she asked about my ic no.. then i became suspicious.. i refused to give my ic no.. she said the call being recorded.. but..im not giving out my ic no easily.. then i hung up..

is there any harm to me as i already giving out my address no?

Me too received this number 0378491000 and they claim they are calling from Unicef Malaysia ,then asked me to make monthly donation to them......

i got a misscall  from this number. I thought it might be from someone who wants to offer a job. So i try to call back but line busy.When i google the number, i am surprised that there are many person who suspicios.im lucky miss that call..

I also receive it. The caller is indian, male and female.

Received a call from this number from a Malay lady claiming to be from Bonuslink offering a "Card Protection Plan" for lost ICs and credit cards. It's supposed to be a Bonuslink promotion. What sort of protection plan can you give for lost ICs?
