Got a call claming he's calling on behalf of OCBC bank selling ACE insurance in Singapore..

i received call too the malay girl said she is from MBF creadit card, and to my suprise she know my name, anyway when i ask her to talk in english she then said that she will call back. something fishy and start to look into the net and found thise site, what happen to our telekom provider and police, this number still allowed to be active till tonday ?????

0378491000 - Stupid Telemarketer, stupid Scam, stupid HLA program (Insurance)

I received the same call from this number saying that 'she' is from UNICEF. And just said that I was busy and please call me some other time when I'm not at work. She called me twice on March 15th and 16th (today).

I'll just ignore the calls just in case it's a scam. If things goes worst I'll just report it to the police.

same with me, i asked them what details do they need, they mentioned home address, IC number & credit/debit card number to charge the RM98...

it's not actually a scam but an external party linked to all the banks...if u heard CTOS or MEPS, CPP is similar to that...but i did not signed up too cause i dun like giving out those info or details thru phone...that number could be from anyone...but however, i think i will enroll with it as a protection but apply via the bank...

I just only got 1 call from this number, when I say ' Hello' , that party could not hear it and hang up and when I returned the call, I got network error.

Then I quickily googled this number and only know where it was from. Luckily I didnt pick up.

i got a call from this number a few times but i'm not able to pick it up as i'm working...when i call the number back afterward, i couldnt reach it..

probably symphony bpo. they serve many banks and insurance companies. so decline nicely, because working in call centres are most stressful

Just received a called few sec ago. Why want to call me. I don't need no fakking insurance. Question is, how did they get my number?

Got a call from 03-78491000, promoting debit/ credit card protection which offers money if wallet is lost and somebody else used your credit/debit card for more than RM300k. The annual fee is RM68. I declined because the possibility to get even RM300 back from fraud case is pretty nil.

i has answer and ask for hold on,but she direct drop line~ confused....

thanks a lot for your info... now i know how struggle they are to get customers which it will linked directly to the deduction of bills from my credit card.. too weird, where do they get credit cards' holder personal number? is it insider informer or what????

Today 10June2011 about 4.40pm, i was receive this call too from 03-78491000(Daniel). Saying was calling from citibank offer to me FOC of insurance cost RM152.00 Monthly payment into citibank and can refund back all the money after 15year. At the last, he want to get my IC number. He know my birth, but he dint know my last 4 digit number. I ask him to email me all the document b4 i apply. And they send me this http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/807/cheaterd.jpg/

LOLx, why Daniel call me for the offer but the other people send me this documents? Are they HACK their mail-box? This case should report to police.

I call to citibank to asking this offer but they told me NO OFFER like this and they not found this number in citibank. It was SCAM! So Beware!

just receive the call. when i want to decline the offer, he cut off the line. now wondering it will charge to my credit card or not?
