I received a call from 03-78491300 & 03-78491000 (5:12pm, 25/8/11), a Malay lady speaking claimed she is from Maybank and would like to offer CPP plan for Maybank credit card new holder but need to pay RM98 per annum then ask my personal detail like full name, IC, mailing address and credit card 15 digits.

i just received a call from 03-78491000. is a chinese guy and told me he is from air-asia insure. he keep explain and tell me the benefit of the insurance. but the funny things is the things he told me is exist and can found in www.airasia.com . he keep asking me do i is a credit card holder. i said i'm not then he said i can call his customer service line if i'm interested. so this is nothing harmful although i accept his call??

Here comes my case, I booked Airasia ticket, a lady called me via this number, saying she is representing Airasia to blablabla insurance blablabla...talk about 5 minutes, she told me my phone line has alot of noise, saying will call me back later, til then, never called back anymore.

I got call from this number and a guy said that he is a representative for Prudential. He is selling insurance. I'm not interested!!

i got called from this number too... but when i called back, its in chinese... and the machine actually informed me to choose "for hotel booking please press 1, for booking changes please press 2"

anyone have any idea? i got shock and thought that i booked for a hotel. but when i checked the number online, i'm relieved.

Got missed call from this number on 15 sep. 2011 at 6.49pm. Fortunately missed call or else im gonna waste my time talking to them. Thanks to all for sharing. Definitely a scammer Ohya, did return call and a machine answered in chinese language. Be careful guys/gals.

Just got call from this number. Luckily Im asleep. But yesterday i got a call from a mobilephone. Telling bout insurance n blablabla. She asked for the credit card details. Then i said to her laterr. Off the phone. Its very dangerous! But im a bit suspicious, how they got our informations? Even she knows where i lived.

Malay lady who talked to me rudely. Said she is from Maybank and knows what credit card I hold. Offered me some insurance thing for credit card fraud. Threaten me when I said I am not interested.

No point emailing Maybank about this. They will just deny ever giving out customer information, although the only way they have our name, number and basic credit card info is through Maybank.

Keep getting missed called from this number.

I got call from this number 0378491000 several times too. but i don't want to pick up due to i don't know the number and i don't feel like to answer. ahahaha.. suddenly it occurs to me to google it. huh.. what do u know.. obviously its a fraud. I think this is the number where they got so many information about credit card holders and ask the to confirm the information so that they can deduct amount of money from your credit card and told you it is an insurance. And it is a MUST! what? (actually my husband got this call too but he wisely tell the person that he will call him back. After that my husband called maybank to confirm about that. And it was really a scam. because there is someone in the credit card company selling all the information of credit card holders. so if you get this call just say your details or your credit card had just cancelled. even better don't answer it.

I got a call fr this number. I called back, went into voice mail. Then I called maybank and check whether this number is from their agent. And guess what!!? The officer confirmed that my number did not appear in their calling list. Fyi, our number will be captured in their system even their authorised agent call us. So, 99% it is a spam!

yes i got this number many times is about 10 time she called..she said from agent maybank card credit service and ask many question and tries to know the last my code series number of card holder it is [***].. why she want to know my series number card dredit..so i just hand up..
