Received call from this number few months ago. It is a Malay guy who claimed to be selling insurance for card protection. He knew what card I was using, and asked for my personal information so he could send me a welcome pack for the insurance. Knowing it is a scam when somebody ask for your personal info through phone, I just hung up without a word.

Then, today received another miscall from this number again, and so decided to post this up.

Please beware and do not give out any personal info when you receive calls from this number!

also received call from this number. caller saying she is from Great Eastern Insurance.
asking for information.
suspected something is not right, hang up....

Strange !!! Few months ago , I received calls from 03 78491000 first. When I press answer, the line cut off.  Since last Saturday they call me every day till yesterday also but number call from 03 78491300 also line cut off when I answer.  Lucky have got this website see so many people also have the same experiance ..... Next time I will just  REJECT this STUPID CALL..

Just received a call from 78491000 at 7:55pm. First time I answered, line cut off. Second time I don even answer. Then search from google, gosh! So many ppl also same as me received the same.

These numbers kept on calling.Maybe from the same Telemarketing Company.
Don't worry if miscalled.I saved them as Scam.

Received the calls from the number today. OMG...thank God I got to this site! I got two missd calls from the number. I tried calling back but it's so difficult to get through. I got suspicious and ran a search...here I am!

In the past, I got calls from people who said they represent RHB, Maybank and even Bonuslink. I just told them I'm not interested in their offers.  Phew! You never know what people are up to these days!

this fellow spoke Cantonese while selling Prudential product to me.
when i ask for few days consideration, the person refuse to give me any contact number, even tell me their company # only allow call out only.

if telemarketing, i will give my personal # to you so i can earn the money.

i just received a miss call from 0378491300 then 0378491000 which hang up after i answer.  luckly i found this site. wonder why this people keep on disturb people.

I was lucky i seldom bring my phone to work... so let them call @ miscall. i dont miss them at all after i know about this. actually this type of 'bugging' had been disturbing me for so many times (different no...i guess. i never keep the no anyway) ... luckily i hv no interest in insurance... as there is no confirmation saying that i will live forever so why bother, as long as i make some saving; every month, now & then when i hv extra balance and make sure i hv time to write my will to whom should it belong to next. Our fate already written up there... unless u dont believe in 'GOD'................. rezeki masing2 yg penting biar halal...

It's a call from Citibank asking for our card number and details. This is a prank. Do no not beleive it.

I got a call from this number too, but when I answer the call, I can hear someone put it down immediately. I wonder why.. and when I googled, this is what I got.

ya me too. I got a call this afternoon around 12pm+-. One Malay lady mentioned bout her name (I forgot) and she said she is calling from OCBC bank in a very polite and can hear her smile too. I said, "yes, what is it regarding?" then all a sudden the line cut. I tried calling back a few times but returned as an error message saying that the phone no. doesnt exist, or so.

I am glad that I googled and seeing all these messages. Thank GOD!

I just got to know that this a business partner with the banks. They will obtain our contact details upon signing up to apply for credit card. Apparently it is written in the clause in the application form. I was harassed and slamped on the phone twice, receiving calls every other day to purchase their insurance deal. Hence, I've decided to cancel the card but was told to pay government tax eventhough I have not collected the credit card. Can they do that?
