Word of warning! My story is the same. Got extremely fed up with the constant hang-ups from this number. Rang back relentlessly to give whoever a piece of my mind only to be met with the continuous sound of the line being disconnected. When my phone bill from telstra came in, I'd clocked up a bill of $29 just calling this number back 29 times. I learned a lesson that day. Few days later they called me again but this time instead of a hang-up I spoke to some smart-a* Indian. Gave him a serve & haven't heard from these incessant nuisance callers since.

i need to know who is number is that

there is no one there when i ask just hang up

who are they? Keep calling me then hang up when answered.

just silence then hang up

They keep calling then hanging up!  When I call the number back its always engaged!

I have had someone ringing for days with the number 03 9001 5836.  
Sometimes they say they are from Windows and I have a major problem with my computer and if I go to my computer and log in they will help me solve the problem.  Another one was trying to give me a free tablet because I was a loyal customer wanted me to confirm all my details my answer was to hang up he continued to ring back every minute for the next 12 minutes.  Next was this Sarah chick everyone has mentioned. 3 continues calls to my husband who firstly spoke normally, 2nd call he pretended to be someone who didn't speak english....didn't stop her, 3rd call her pretended to be a little kid to which I snatched the phone from him and told her to %$#@ OFF and stop calling this number.  Hadn't had any calls for almost 2 weeks and now they have started again....I have tried calling that number back and it is always engaged. Please continue your investigations Fed who posted 1 May 2012.  So sick of these calls.

Get call from 03-9001-5836 almost four times every day!!!,  no answer and hang up every time, Crazy!

How can I stop them call?

I received a phone call tonight at 7:29pm (18/06/2012) from this number with no voice and then an electronic click, "goodbye" and then it hungup. That was the first phone call this evening from an unknown number. I've had another call tonight but it didn't register.

Looking at my records I have received another phone call from this number dated: 29/05/2012 4:15pm.

How do you get this to stop?

The same thing has happened to me twice now, where they hung up when you answer!

They hung up when I said hello. Rude and time-wasting.

Ive been getting the phone calls and this woman identified herself as Catherine.

I  have been recieving regular calls from0390015836. The lady said she was representing a phone company something....Telsta and said I would be recieving a cheaper phone bill this month. I told her I was happy with my provider and would not be changing. She said nothing will change, your number line or anything you will just get cheaper calls. I said Thank you and she hung up. I then rang my provider Telstra to enqire about this call Yes its shonky!! Do not give out any information to this caller.

cp: I have this number ring me all the time but I live in Queensland and its not a Queensland number I beleive that it is a Victorian number but it sounds like they like to call people to annoy them and they are doing it all over Australia. :/

How do you stop them ringing, they are calling me at least twice a day

Just received a call from this number. They prentended they were calling on behalf of Telstra. I told them I dont do anything unless I have something in writing. Gave them my fax number and they sent through a fax. The company is Magnum Telecom - www.magnumtelecom.com.au

I have received 3 calls from this number today, started at 9.15 the last one 12.35.  It came up on missed calls,  I Google it and came up with this page so I wont be answering.

Got a call from a woman (pacific island accent?) who sounded very professional and said she was calling from Insuranceline. I said I wasnt interested, (nicely) and hung up. She rang back immediatedly (from this number) and when I answered an automatic voice said "goodbye" and hung up. They really shouldnt be in the telemarketing industry if they take things so personally. Rang insuranceline and asked if they were using telemarketers and if so not to use these people. They said they'd log the complaint and take me off the calling list......yeah right.

Interested to know if any other people had calls from "Insuranceline"?

I keep getting a call from this number as well, as soon as i answer it they hang up..strange

This number calls our office all the time and just hangs up. Very annoying, they don't even speak at all they just wait for us to say our welcome line and then hang up. Guessing they don't want to speak to businesses. Whats worse is we have 10 lines so they call each line
