I've just reported being scammed by this 'person' to Action Fraud too. They were very kind, but sadly there isn't a great deal they can do for me as an individual 'victim'. However, it is really important that everyone this happens to reports it. The police need to be aware of the scale of this person's activities for them to take it seriously at all.  The guy I spoke to said the recent reports they have been getting show an increasing trend towards elderly and vulnerable people being ripped off in this way.

The one thing I am going to do is to keep replying to 'Sarah Harlow''s ads, from alternative email addresses, just to waste some of his/her time'.  Scum bag.

Word for word copy of my "dealings" with "teresa" over some archery equipment on gumtree !

Perhaps you could just keep them dangling and waste some of the time they would otherwise use ripping people off?

I thought that I would be giving cash to the delivery man , But the email from what I thought was parcelforce asked for paypoint  I fell for it hook line and sinker, I hope that we find this scammer I would like to pay them a visit visit                                                                                                                                                                                                               Ok keep me updated

       Unfortunately I've just got called into the office (i get sent countrywide with less than 24hrs notice) so very busy till next week. Back at work we have some shipments for large items with parcelforce all week long. Just thought it would save you time and hassle if I'll send it along with them free of charge :) company benefits :) .

       I asked around and it seems you can pay cash upon delivery/inspection. It's quite simple since they're able to wait for you to check it out, if not as described they can just void the shipment with no extra charge.

       If that's alright with you I'll need a name, address, contact number and also date&time suitable for the delivery.
       Working long hours so If you want to pop in and pick it up you'll have to wait till next week or so when hopefully I'll get my head around :)

I believe this person is either using a vodaphone mobile (0774 prefix) or Skype. The police are contacting vodaphone as we speak. And they are contacting gmail re ip addresses and any details. Skype can be paid for by credit card (unlikely) or ukash for example (more likely and more ironically). However, although ukash is untraceable (as we know) I think it can be traced. I think you can send texts from Skype from a number you choose. Hence why there is no answer and you can't reply to texts. Try to run these numbers through Skype and check with the different names. Please post if you get anywhere. Police are also emailing ukash. Don't give up ask your police to do the same.

By the way the police can obtain a 'tracking analysis' from ukash if they email fraudprevention@ukash.com. This will tell them where the ukash was redeemed. This is the instance of crime. Interesting that one poster only had one pound stolen before they cancelled/retrieved their ukash. Could have been a small payment made to Skype for texts for example. Worth asking police to ask for a voucher analysis. If you get an analysis from police please post here. All the best.

She has an advert for a wooden bedstead at the moment on Worcestershire link.Identical e,mails used.Mobile being used at moment is;  07747192044  Warning bells rang when realised money up front without seeing goods first.
Someone made the comment that the person might be english. Not convinced that is the case. Meant to be a graduate but her profile language doesn't suggest that.

The little grey cells are suggesting they are in poland, a number of people using vodaphone pay as you go sim cards in iphones. Currently working on their parcel force email to track ip.

At this stage this is suspected and not definate but wanted to keep you posted.

Keep contacting police and ukash and lodge a complaint with ukash.

Just been scammed by same person! Gumtree not doing anything about it.

On gumtreeadvert there is a google map which is using the Post code as Staffordshire and West midlands probation service! Great!!!

hi guys just to let you all know that i have been ripped off for £60 by this person claiming to be Sarah Harlow, i was led to believe that i was purchasing a large beko fridge freezer, the ad is still on gumtree although i have reported it as a scam, the emails i received were very similar almost identical to some above! i just really wish that i had done my research first! feel like a right mug now! i even sold my fridge and freezer to pay for the one i thought was going to be shipped to me from this person! i was left without any cold storage and £30 worth of food that was no longer edible, then luckily i managed to source another  fridge freezer, from trade it!! i have learnt the hard way and won't be using ukash or gumtree again! some people are really heartless with way to much audacity!! SO PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!! hope this saves some one else from being ripped off by a heartless horrible person!!

Further to my email to gumtree regarding this scumbag, i have reposted a scam alert ad on gumtree Scam Alert XP DEUS METAL DETECTOR please read £380  i have also reported gumtree and the seller to trading standards, and i am going to ask our local bobby if anything can be done regarding this fraudster

Thanks very much as we wre also taken in by this and JUST managed to block the Ukash voucher after reading this. So we pay an 'admin' fee to get a refund but much better than £180 going to these tools.
