I saw a  Pioneer DDJ-S1 on Gumtree for £310 (bargain- too good to be true!). Enquired via Gumtree & got a text message to email
pamelahogan75@gmail.com.
I emailed her and got the reply below.
It's almost exactly the same message!

just got scammed out of £110. same messages as above from pamela hogan but has obviously changed her name to melanie ward. melanie75ward@gmail.com   she/he needs to be caught by the police before i catch her.

I am currently in contact with her for a Piano but her name has changed to Deborah Regan..

let me know if the police are after her!

I replied to an ad for a whirlpool fridge freezer on Gumtree and got the same message back, but from Deborah Regan. I replied with distance from home to Hull and said I was there Tuesday and will collect. Got following response:-

Of course, nothing goes according to plan :( Unfortunately I've just got called into the office so very busy till next week, hectic lifestyle. However, back at work we have some shipments for large items with parcelforce all week long. Just thought it would save you time and hassle if I'll send it along with them free of charge hihi company benefits :) .

I asked around and it seems you can pay cash upon delivery/inspection. It's quite simple since they're able to wait for you to check it out, if not as described they can just void the shipment with no extra charge.

If that's alright with you I'll need a name, address, contact number and also date&time suitable for the delivery.
Second option - if you want to pop in and collect you'll have to wait till next week or so when hopefully I'll get my head around.
Let me know either way. No need to worry If my reply is delayed since I'm just having fun working long hours ... or not :))

phone the ombusman immediately and make a complaint and get a ref number
email ref number to ukash (to show its going the whole road)
when ombudsman takes up the case it costs ukash £500 on top of the money your due
