I work for o2 and when it appears on your bill as  7894947898, its the message centre number but if on your bill it has the 0 at the start, its nothing to do with us.

creative.... i am in a similar situation to you. i came home from America to find my bill was charged £135 from this number having 0.25 second calls every minute on my phone! i am on o2 and i will be calling them very soon!

i had a accident and u said i was entitled to a cheque 3750 i broke my finger and twisted my hanckle

My girlfriend got a text from this number with someone apparently pretending to be a friend accusing me off sleeping with another girl and mentioning her by name.

They allocate a number to each person for a period. If you call back they will know it is you. DON'T CALL BACK. Use the web.

My husband got a revulting text from this number yesturday, saying i was f---ing someone else, It has caused hell in my home and may have wrecked my marrage

just registered my number with account on sexintheuk.com web site... NEW NUMBER ! no one have it... and just recived empty message... and the funny number....   NICE TRY !!!

the number 07802000332 is the 02 message centre number .you will get his on your bill if you have text from abroad.it doesnt show the mobile number you have text just the message centre number .

I am sick of getting push messages from this number its disturbing and im also getting charged for them every time they are opened i am now deleting them without opening them its scam and im sick of it mobile phone providers should block these numbers from sending messages randomly to innocent people

Some one tried to send me a message but my message centre informed me it could not be displayed

Just realised message was not displayed because I have no credit Do not know what it would have cost me Iam with Tesco pay as you go

on my O2 bill, it said i had text this number 4 times while i was in the USA :07802000332. It cost 25p a time but i hadn't sent any texts, they have refunded me the £1. I've got an iPhone and wonder if its a dodgy app thats sending the texts or simething.

I have just had my phone bill and it says I called this number 65 times whilst in France costing me £6.50 in total!! how on earth have they done it!!

Same problem as Andrew. o2 claim I have sent 270 texts while in Canada. I have actually sent 12 texts.

I have just received my mobile phone bill from a week spent in France. I have 'apparently' made 395 sms messages to 07802000332 from my mobile!! I have phoned this number and its 'not recognised'. I even made some of them at  6am in the morning before I woke up!!! If I didn't have a large text bundle it would have cost me a fortune!! O2 say it's a mystery!

Same problem I work in Ukraine, I think these [***] have cost me £600. I have just got back to the UK and checked my bills and I have apparently been calling this number every few minutes for weeks at 40p a go.

I just got a text message from message centre 07802000332, sender 07543003193.

Text of the message was "The government has introduced a debt settlement order, this means people struggling with debt can apply to have it wiped off, to apply txt DEBT. 2 stop txt STOP".

I have an Orange pay as you go account.

got a text from sender named 78007 via message centre 07802000332.  it says 'reply with Y to complete the purchase.  You will be billed £15.  Need help?  Call 0843 2189 420'  this makes no sense to me at all.

My husband has an old phone with a Vodafone pay-as-you-go sim card. At 8am this morning and then at 9am there was a text supposedly from Lloyds TSB.

The first message said this: "LTSB account 3868 Balance 0.00CR at 5:10 30 Mar. Your account balance has reached or is now below the lower limit you set. Sender Lloyds TSB message +447802000332, Sent 30 Mar 11 08:10:08"

The second message said this: "For your balance and a six item mini statement text BAL 3868 (the last four digits of your account number) to 62229 anytime. Network text charges apply. Sender lloyds TSB message +447785016005"

My husband texted back to the number, because we were worried that it said the balance was zero and we weren't expecting that, but the text message by return said he was "not eligible for that service" and told him how to "upgrade" his account for text balances.

First, NONE of our accounts ends in the number given (3868).
Second, NONE of our accounts are at zero
Third, we don't subscribe to the text message service.

On enquiring at our local branch of LloydTSB, we were told that it was nothing to do with them and advised reporting it to the Police. The police weren't interested and dismissed it.
