several texts from number 07802000332 which cannot be displayed

Got a message from this number it read "LAST CHANCE. O2pay monthly customers only: Upgrade earlty and receive a freeapple IPad. Limited stock-1st come 1st served. Call now 08443300151" I suspect a scam to find out if mine is a real number so they can sell it to other scammers and I will get deluged with texts and calls. The thing is my phone has been switched off for 6 moths. Within 2 hours of switching it back on I had a text and a missed call.

just had 4 days in Russia and received 100 of these on my 02 bill at 40p each looking at previous posts 02 are aware of it and should ensure its blocked instead of taking money off each person scammed

and each one lasted 0.01 secs is a rip off by 02

I have just noticed I have apparently sent this number 55 texts whilst on safari in Africa... My phone was in a safe for the majority of the holiday, I didn't send these messages.. I have contacted 02 they said they are looking into it. It's cost me £55.

Got a text on 29/03/14 at 22.11.43 could not be displayed to my pay monthy Tesco mobile. Tried to call then texted but no reply. Hope I don't pay for this if it is a con.

We are currently selling our caravan on gumtree and Auto Trader. Message from Bob Wright received on 9 May 2014 -

Did not call back and went to gumtree account where there was a message saying we needed to supply information to access
our message.  ie Bob Wright has sent a request about your Gumtree add click here to request then it takes you into a 'gumtree like' screen and asks for your date of birth, bank details, address etc

This was when we realised 'Bob' wasn't interested in our caravan

I too have caravan for sale on gumtree.  Received text today from Bob Wright asking me to email him with regard to my car ad on gumtree , I did email him saying that I didn't have a car for sale. A few minutes later I received an email from gumtree. com saying that bob wright had made an offer on my ad  when I clicked on the link it asked me to log into gumtree then asked for my bank details,  at this point I smelt a rat!

received two text messages from this number claiming to be from yodel about a fictitious parcel supposedly delivered to a neighbour. No parcel.

I'm just checking my bill and have been charged £15.60 for phoning this number: 07802000332. I'm just wondering who this is as I am currently on holiday and haven't made any phone calls?!?!? Cheers

Called my provider 02 and they have just advised me it's the number they use to charge you for texting when you are overseas.  This number will replace the number you are texting!

I'm not a sky customer for a start and never will be, this is obviously just a phishing scam and this number should be banned as it seems this mobile number has been the same one that has sent me multiple other phishing related SMS's!

Received a message it just said from Adam.derbys text stated "A follow up"
I have no idea what this message is intended to achieve

I am in UAE and only use phone for wifi and my bill is showing 6 messages on 30th may and 2 on 31st may although I don't have this number in my contacts or did I send the messages from my phone

My O2 phone somehow sent 20 texts to this number last month without my knowledge while I was on a cruise ship - 20 texts x 40p. The same thing happened last weekend in Europe - 20 texts x 4p. Previous posts (above) show O2 were told about this years ago and yet when I rang O2 today all knowledge of this scam was denied. Disgraceful - but I am determined to get this sorted.

Just returned from holiday in Egypt to discover that I have 119 text messages assigned to 7802000332. I don't recognise the number but at 40p a time I'm not happy. Less happy that I can't make contact with 02 Chat Line.

I received a text message from  07803572167 with 07802000332 as the messaging centre about refunding customers who have paid a monthly fee on packaged bank accounts and directing me to www.pbapeople.com. where personal details are being requested.   Is this a SCAM?

Sent me 4 messages  to reset password and a new number for Facebook that I hadn't requested I realised it was a con straight away and checked number by Google to confirm my suspicions

I have been billed 29 times on my mobile, does not know who is it and when I try the number seems incorrect.

Both my Son and Daughter have just received text messages, supposedly from me, in Chinese 🇨🇳. Both texts came through O2 call center. I have niether received nor heard anything from the Spoofer.
