yeah that number is  O2 message centre. i received a txt through this centre from a sender with number 07902859114, it said 'we have been trying to contact you regarding your aciccident,we now have details of how much you are due, just reply CONFIRM and we will call you back'. It is a scam as I've never had an accident, never contacted anyone about an accident and I am on Pay as You Go so they must have a list of random numbers to try work their way through. I guess some people must fall for it and text back.

    ICO recommendation:

How can I stop receiving messages from these organisations?
You can report them to your network operator, who may be able to prevent further spam from the originating number. Unfortunately as the numbers often change, your network provider cannot guarantee to stop all unsolicited messages. You can either contact your network operator’s customer services or use one of the reporting numbers below:

Orange, O2 and T-Mobile: Forward the SMS to 7726
Vodafone: Forward the SMS to 87726
Three: Forward the SMS to 37726

I received a message today from Message Centre 07802000332. I am on Tesco Pay as you Go.
The text message showed up as being from 'MMG'. This is what the text message said: "Miss Thomas, For information, please note payment for your monthly plan is due in 2 days. Best regards, Administrator."
First of all how did these losers get my mobile number? and even more worryingly, how have they got my bank account details??!

I have just had a full blown arguement with 02 about this, it is extra charges (on top of roaming charges) that they add onto your bill for using your phone abroad. I am absolutley disgusted with 02, because these are extra charges on top of roaming!! Get onto your phone provider and get the charges back, I did!! Its not fair that we have to get these charges unnotified!!

Received a text from this number pretending to be from O2, notifying me of how much I had spent on my home phone this month. The figures were way out from what I would have expected, and the wording was also a bit off, so I checked with O2 and they said the message wasn't from them. Don't reply to anything from this number as you will probably get ripped off.

Was charged 7p on 6 occasions whilst in France.  I have no idea who this number belongs to, I can only presume that it is some sort of fraudulent scam that is worked once you make a call to a local number.

Anyone any clues as to who / what it is?

These IDIOTS sent me a text at 3.04 this morning saying there was a new message for me at Mssg.me.  I didn't respond and have reported them - there was another mobile number associated with this which was +44746335951 - I reported this as well.

I received a text from 07802000332 purporting to be from NatWest, and stating that my address had been changed on 08/04/2013. I don't bank with NatWest. I suspect this is some sort of scam. They obviously want me to reply to their text (I haven't) for some reason best known to themselves.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

Well, here we are in April 2013 and it's STILL going on!!! I would suggest O2 get their finger out and block this number now as they've let this scam continue for 5 years!!!

Just had two spam texts from this number in the last ten minutes. One offering to mess with my pension, another saying it they have opted me in to receiving ten messages, and text STOP to them if I want them to stop. Do they think I am that stupid?
