The financial ombudsman can help you if you have paid a fee to a company or if you have a financial dispute with a company. They do not regulate calls.

I am sure as a company they are apologetic to those who the system fails on, regardless on your interest in the company. However, at this stage I urge you to appreciate that these people who you are screaming at relentlessly down the receiver of the phone are working for a living. Treat people how you wish to be treated, and giving people the respect they deserve is crucial in this line of business. If you are rude to them, why should they remove you? After all, it's nice to be nice.

In regards to this company, I have dealt with them personally and only have high praises for them. When you get past the irritating phone calls, which I myself received before my claim, you realize that they are genuinely trying to help you. I spoke to a very informative and polite agent who went above and beyond the call of duty in regards to calling me at convenient times and remaining helpful throughout my questions and reservations.

As a service I do agree they need a better system, as this one appears to be causing a little bit of drama. Even my agent commented on the amount rude people they had spoken to that day.

i made a claim with you and this place isnt a scam i got my claim handle quickly and professionaly fantastic no win no fee on ppi claims and staff were very helpfull and no i do not wotk there ppl.just pick up the phone and tell they your not intreasted and to take your number of there books and they will.

i find it quite funny how much crap people talk on hear - its obviously a sales company trying to flog us stuff no one needs - but i dont how they are trying to gauge when your home to rob you..its no wonder this world is the way it is full of people like this "oo they are going to rob you as they know when your home!"

To be fair, if you have investigated or applied for a loan previous to you joining the TPS then the error is not on a system. It is in fact your own fault. If you read what you signed and unchecked all the correct boxes - companies like these wouldn't receive our information and sell it on etc.

TPS only covers you if the information has been passed on whilst in that program, therefore information sent before this is invalid. Plus, Financial services do not regulate calls.

If you have a smart phone download an APP to block unwanted calls i.e Call blocker on Android phones. Works brilliantly! You need never be bugged with sales calls again.

why would you be on here if you were a client??

how would you know that they would stop calling if you had been through a claim??

this is a poor attempt to give your tin pot company credibility.

if you are regulated by ofcom you would realise that my number is registered under the TPS and has been for years so you are actually breaching the regulation by contacting me while i'm not a customer and also harrasment for 5+ calls per day even outside of cold calling hours which are 8:00-22:00 (8am - 10pm)

Cold calling hours are actually  8am til 8pm. Data is filtered to avoid calling people registered on with the TPS. Most of the data is supplied from banks and finance brokers  perhaps you shouldn't agree to have your details passed on in the future when applying for finances you bellend .

Got a call from this number today, called the number back, went to voice mail, voice mail box full, cant leave a voice mail message, who r these people

OK.... these people ARE scam artists. The silly boy / girl who said something along the lines of "how can they be scam artists when we don't ask for your bank details" obviously has something mentally wrong with them.

But anyway, as someone has stated, this number is linked to Wilson Tarquin, which is a "company" that has changed their name to (among other things) PPI Claims Now.

If you are sick of these scam artists being rude or calling you constantly or hanging up or all of the above then you can contact the receptionists at 0844 811 4370 and give them a piece of your mind and get them to stop calling you.

They must get this all the time as they have the sound of someone who has been busted scamming when you call.

Wilson Tarquin is used so that if the persons phone we're trying to contact is answered by somebody else it doesn't breach dpa by letting them know what it's about I.e the name would give it away. Wilson Tarquin are regulated by the MOJ and ofcom. It's impossible to scam anybody as they don't take any banking or NI numbers. Get your facts right instead of making bollocks up as you go along.

I received a text from this number and I found it quite strange because it mentioned my sons name and for him to go on a website as whoever it was texting was saying he could make a lot of money in a week. I thought at first it was one of my sons friends texting as my son used my mobile a couple of times to text his friends so when I forwarded the mesage on to him he did not have a clue who's number it was. I find this strange that they knew my sons name..... I would advise people to be wary with those messages....

We do not text out unless the client has accepted to have the legal documents processed and sent to their address.

We do not at any point take your bank account details.

If you have been called and hung up on then it would be the dialer system that was being used and has recently been rectified so that it will not happen in the future.

All our claims go through a specific legal process which involves the creditor directly so no scam is involved.

All our advisors are constantly monitored so that each call they process meets legal requirements.

Asked for someone who has given out my phone number as theirs'. Rebecca the caller was rather cagey about giving out details of Wilson Tarquin, but 1471 found the number. Note I am ex-directory, anonymous caller blocked and signed up to the Telephone Preference Service.
